Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas implementasi pembelajaran terpadu tipe shared dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar siswa SMK pada topik limbah di lingkungan kerja serta tanggapan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian kelas XI program otomotif salah satu SMKN di kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dengan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen (pembelajaran terpadu tipe shared) dan kelas kontrol (pembelajaran direct instrcution). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes berpikir kritis, skala motivasi, lembar observasi, dan angket tanggapan. Data pretes, postes, dan N-gain kemudian diuji secara kuantitatif dengan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran tipe shared dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran direct instruction. Dari keseluruhan siswa menanggapi positif penerapan pembelajaran terpadu tipe shared pada topik limbah di lingkungan kerja.
