Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi rendahnya hasil ulangan harian matematika pada pokok bahasan bilangan bulat, hal ini ditandai banyaknya siswa yang belum mencapai KKM yang diharapkan dari 38 siswa kelas IV yang mencapai KKM hanya 50,98% atau 13 orang dan sisanya belum mencapai KKM, demikian juga cara guru mengajar masih menggunakan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini ditujukan pada penggunaan media Contextual Teaching and Learning(CTL) pada pokok bahasan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk:(1). Memberi gambaran perencanaan pembelajaran tentang penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan media Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL).(2). Memberi gambaran proses belajar mengajar tentang penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan media CTL. (3). Memberi gambaran hasil belajar siswa tentang penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat setelah menggunakan media CTL. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cicadas 01 Kecamatan Gunungputri Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini adalah PTK dengan dua siklus Karena pada siklus ke II semua siswa sudah mencapai nilai di atas KKM. Prosedur pelaksanaannya mengacu pada model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart di mana pada satu siklus terdapat perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 berjumlah 38 siswa. Data awal yang didapatkan peneliti dengan persentase rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa 63,73%. siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 13 siswa atau 50,98% dan yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 25 siswa atau 49,02%. Keberhasilan penggunaan media CTL mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I persentase rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa 78,23% siswa, yang sudah tuntas sebanyak 25 siswa atau 72,55% dan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 13 siswa atau 27,45% dan pada siklus II persentase rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa 86,47%. Dari hasil pelaksanaan PTK melalui dua siklus dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas IV SDN Cicadas 01 Kecamatan Gunungputri Kabupaten Bogor. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan CTL, hasil belajar, bilangan bulat The background of this research is the low daily test results on the subject of mathematical integers , it is indicated the number of students who have not reached the expected KKM of 38 fourth grade students who achieve KKM only 50.98 % or 13 people , and the rest have not reached the KKM , as well how to teach teachers still use the lecture method . This research aimed at using the media Contextual Teaching and Learning ( CTL ) on the subject of addition and subtraction of integers . Based on these problems , the research objectives to be achieved are to : ( 1 ) . Learning plan gives an overview of the addition and subtraction of integers using media Contextual Teaching and Learning ( CTL ) . ( 2 ) . Give an idea about the teaching and learning process of addition and subtraction of integers using CTL media . ( 3 ) . Gives an overview about the student learning outcomes of addition and subtraction of integers after using CTL media . The research was conducted in the Elementary School District 01 Cicadas Gunungputri Bogor regency . This study uses Classroom Action Research ( CAR). The design of this study is the PTK with two cycles in cycle II Since all students had reached a value above KKM . Implementation procedure refers to the model developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart on a cycle in which there is the planning , implementation , observation and reflection . Fourth grade students study a subject of academic year 2012/2013 amounted to 38 students . Preliminary data obtained by researchers percentage of average mathematics achievement of students 63.73 % . students who completed as many as 13 students or 50.98 % and incomplete as many as 25 students or 49.02 % . The successful use of CTL media has increased each cycle . In the first cycle, the average percentage of students' mathematics learning outcomes of students 78.23 % , which was completed by 25 students or 72.55 % , and students who did not complete as many as 13 students or 27.45 % and the second cycle average percentage results 86.47 % of students studying mathematics . From the results of the implementation of TOD through two cycles can be concluded that by using CTL media can improve learning outcomes of students in fourth grade math SDN Cicadas 01 Sub Gunungputri Bogor regency .
