    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran seberapa besar peningkatan literasi sains siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran secara inkuiri terbimbing dengan menggunakan pendekatan SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran secara inkuiri tanpa menggunakan pendekatan SETS pada materi Fluida statis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi exsperiment, dengan desain yang digunakan adalah equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Desain penelitian ini terdapat dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen merupakan pembelajaran secara inkuiri terbimbing dengan pendekatan SETS sedangkan kelompok kontrol merupakan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing tanpa pendekatan SETS. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes literasi sains. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, didapatkan bahwa nilai N-gain literasi sains kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,50 dengan kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,34 dengan kategori sedang. Ketika kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan peningkatan literasi sains yang signifikan antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan pendekatan SETS dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing tanpa menggunakan pendekatan SETS. ; ----
    This study aimed to get an idea of how big increase scientific literacy of students who get a guided inquiry learning by using approach SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) and students who had learning inquiry without using SETS approach on a static fluid material. The method used is quasi exsperiment, the design used is equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Design of this research, there are two groups: the experimental group was guided inquiry learning approach SETS while the control group was guided inquiry learning without SETS approach. Instruments used in this research is the scientific literacy test. Based on the analysis, it was found that the value of N-gain scientific literacy experimental group at 0.50 with the moderate category and grade control at 0.34 with medium category. When the experimental class compared to the control class, it was concluded that there is a difference significant increase scientific literacy among students who had guided inquiry learning models using SETS approach with students who get a guided inquiry learning models without using SETS approach.
