Abstract

Pentingnya penelitian ini didasari oleh adanya gejala atau indikasi pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani masih kurang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berinteraksi satu sama lain secara maksimal, termasuk dalam pembelajaran permainan bulutangkis. Hal ini antara lain disebabkan masih relatif terbatasnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang model pembelajaran, termasuk model pembelajaran koperatif. Guru kurang memiliki banyak pilihan yang untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran lain selain model pembelajaran konvensional, akibatnya pembelajaran bersifat monoton dan siswa sering menjadi obyek pelaksana instruksi guru semata karena guru menjadi pusat kegiatan belajar. Dalam kaitan itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif dan konvensional terhadap hasil belajar lob bertahan dan perilaku sosial siswa. Penelitian dilakukan mengggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-test and post-test control group terhadap siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes lob bertahan dan skala perilaku sosial, selanjutnya semua data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis perbedaan dua rata-rata (t-test). Berdasarkan hasil analisis terbukti bahwa kedua model pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar lob bertahan dan perilaku sosial siswa, dan model pembelalajaran kooperatif memberikan pengaruh lebih tinggi dan signfikan daripada model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar lob bertahan dan perilaku sosial siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Sesuai hasil penelitian ini, peneliti merekomendasikan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat menjadi alternatif pilihan dan inovasi yang tepat untuk para pengajar di sekolah guna meningkatkan hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani terutama pada aktivitas permainan bulutangkis. Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran kooperatif, model pembelajaran konvensional perilaku sosial, lob bertahan The important of this study is based on the existence of some indication which shows that Sports lesson or in learning sports still lack of involving students in learning and to interact with each other maximally, including in Badminton game learning activity. These could happen due to the limitation of the knowledge of the teacher about learning models including cooperative learning model. The teachers have limited options in applying learning models besides the conventional one, so the effect is the learning activities become bored and monotone and teacher centeredness in learning makes students more likes an instruction object of the teacher. According to that situation, this study aim at finding out the influence of cooperative learning model and conventional model towards the learning result of defense “lob” and social behavior of the students’. The study use experimental method with pre-test, post-test, and control group design. This study use defense “lob” test and social behavior scale to gather the data. The data are analyzed by using t-test analysis. Based on the analysis, it is shows that both of the learning models has some significant influence towards the result of defense lob learning and social behavior of the students, but cooperative learning model has a higher influence towards the social behavior of the students of seventh grade junior high school. Based on the result of his study, the researcher recommend that cooperative learning model can be an alternative option and an appropriate innovation for the teacher of junior high school to improve the learning result in sports teaching and learning process especially in badminton game activities.
