Abstract
The title of this thesis is Utilization of TikTok Application in Learning Jepin Tembung Pendek Dance to Increase Creativity of Junior high School students. The background problem of this thesis is due to TikTok application is popular in Indonesia and this opportunity was seen by the government in terms of learning innovation. In 2021, the Ministry of Education also held technical guidance for teachers in using TikTok application as an alternative learning media that can be used at this time. Utilization of TikTok application is then used to increase the creativity of junior high school students. SMP Negeri 2 Cibinong has students who are quite creative, therefore their creativities have potential to be further enhanced. The purpose of writing this thesis is to write down the results of the analysis of students' creativity after using TikTok application in learning Jepin Tembung Pendek dance. The research method which was used is experiment with True Experimental research design by using a control class and an experimental class. The research sample used 35 control class students and 35 experimental class students with data collection techniques. The name of data collections are questionnaire, interview, observation, and practice test. There are two research results. first, the results of pretest-posttest comparison of control class and experimental class are there were no significant increase, it means that the use of TikTok application could not increase student creativity. Second, the results of the practical test comparison showed that there was a significant increase, it means that the use of TikTok application can increase student creativity.
