Abstract

Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, Discovery Learning, Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah. Nida Nurhasanah (170215). "Comparative Study of the Effectiveness of Models on Problem Based Learning Problem and Discovery Learning Solving Skills (Systematic Literature Review)". Under the Guidance of Advisor I : Prof. Dr. Dadang Dahlan, M.Pd., and Advisor II : Dr. Susanti Kurniawati, S.Pd., M.Sc. ABSTRACT The research was based on low problem-solving skills. Such can be seen through empirical evidence results that show problem-solving skills are still low. The purpose of this research is to find out the comparison of the effectiveness of problem-based learning and discovery learning to problem-solving skills. This study is important as an effort to provide references for teachers to apply models of learning-based problem learning and learning-based learning in order to improve the solving skills in various fields of study and various educational stages. This research was conducted by using a systematic literature review method. Data collection by relevant articles is determined through indexed journal criteria S1, S2, S3, S4 and international journals that already have digital object identifiers (DOI) with indexes Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 with published years between 2011- 2021. The author obtained 317 journals obtained from inside and outside the country and after being screened through Covidence, 36 relevant journals were selected for analysis with the help of Nvivo 12 Plus, Test N-gain, and Effect size. Based on the analysis of 36 journals, the results obtained are:1) Problem based learning model is effective in improving problem solving skills. 2) Discovery learning model is effective in improving problem solving skills 3) Problem learning based learning model is more effective compared to discovery learning models in improving problem solving skills. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Discovery Learning, Problem Solving Skills.
