Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah kecurangan dalam ujian menyebabkan evaluasi pembelajaran tidak berjalan seperti semestinya, untuk menguranginya maka dilakukan pemaketan soal dalam ujian, dan ke¬efiesienan guru dalam membuat alat evaluasi pembelajaran dalam bentuk paket soal. Terkadang dalam tiap paketnya komposisi bab, tingkat kesulitan dan level kognitif soal tidak sesuai tiap paketnya, sehingga belum bisa menjadi alat evaluasi pembelajaran yang baik. Akurasi kemampuan siswa dalam belajar sangat begantung kepada akurasi alat evaluasi, agar secara konsisten mampu mengukur apa yang semestinya diukur. Maka dari itu dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mendapatkan gagasan untuk menerapkan satu algoritma dalam pengacakan yaitu linear congruential generator untuk mengembangkan sistem pemilihan paket soal. Konsep dasar linear congruential generator mengacak bilangan yang benar-benar acak, dan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diinginkan pengguna. Untuk menguji sistem ini dilakukan eksperimen yang melibatkan 300 butir soal pemrograman dasar kelas X semester 2 yang didapat dari bank soal sekolah, dan beberapa textbook. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah sistem yang dapat menghasilkan paket soal yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan sesuai yang diinginkan pengguna; (2) Hasil eksperimen kebergunaan aplikasi atau respon pengguna terhadap aplikasi mendapatkan nilai 92,074 dan dikategorikan sangat baik sesuai dengan standar ISO 9126.;--- This research is motivated by the problem of cheating in the test causing the evaluation of learning does not go as it should, to reduce it, then the packaging of the questions in the exam, and the efficiency problem of teachers in making learning evaluation tools in the form of question packages. The level of difficulty and cognitive of the questions sometimes do not match in each package, thus they cannot be considered as good learning evaluation tools. The accuracy of the students' learning ability depends very much on the accuracy of evaluation tools, thus they are consistently able to measure what should be measured. Therefore, in this study the researcher got the idea to apply an algorithm in the randomization namely “linear congruential generator” to develop the selection system of question packages. The basic concept of the linear congruential generator is to randomize the numbers with the multiplier factor and produce completely random numbers. In the initial condition, the resulting numbers will be repeated, at this point the author modified this algorithm in order to produce unrepeated numbers in accordance with the condition that the user wants. In order to test this system, an experiment involving 300 questions about the basic programming in the second semester of the tenth grade which are obtained from the school’s question bank, and some textbooks. Each question has been validated by the expert. The results of this study are: (1) This research produced a system that can generate question packages with the level of difficulty as desired by the users; (2) The application usability experiment or users’ response to the application has earned 92,074 points and it is categorized as very good marks in accordance with the standard of ISO 9126.
