Abstract
Literasi visual siswa di Indonesia masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, media visual seperti media pembelajaran berbasis android dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk menstimulasi kecakapan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis android dan mengetahui kemampuan literasi visual siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran tersebut. Materi yang digunakan yaitu pencoklatan bahan pangan, mata pelajaran Dasar Proses Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian dan Perikanan Kelas X, SMK jurusan Agorindustri Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 2 model pengembangan yaitu ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation) dan One Shot Case Study. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh ketiga ahli, media pembelajaran berbasis android ini dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, serta “Layak” oleh ahli bahasa. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android ini mendapat respon “Sangat Layak” dari siswa. Hasil untuk kemampuan literasi visual, siswa mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Baik” pada indikator asosiasi visual; kategori “Baik” pada indikator berpikir visual, visualisasi, penalaran visual, pandangan kritis, dan rekonstruksi visual; kategori “Cukup Baik” pada indikator perbedaan visual dan rekonstruksi makna; serta kategori “Kurang Baik” pada indikator konstruksi makna.;--Student visual literacy in Indonesia is low. Therefore, visual media such as Android-based learning media can be used as a tool to stimulate these skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of android-based learning media and determine the ability of students' visual literacy using these learning media. The subject used is browning foodstuffs, Basic subjects Processing Process of Agriculture and Fisheries Class X, Vocational School majoring in Agriculture Product Processing Agorindustry. This research was conducted using 2 development models, namely ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) and One Shot Case Study. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the validation by the three experts, the Android-based learning media was declared "Very Eligible" by material experts and media experts, as well as "Eligible" by linguists. The results show that the Android-based learning media received a response "Very Worthy" from students. Results for visual literacy skills, students get the category of "Very Good" on the visual association indicator; the "Good" category of indicators of visual thinking, visualization, visual reasoning, critical outlook, and visual reconstruction; the category "Fair" on indicators of visual difference and meaning reconstruction; as well as the "Poor" category on the meaning construction indicator.
