Abstract

Social intelligence adalah kemampuan berinteraksi yang dimiliki siswa Kelas XI SMAN 10 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 dengan teman sebaya, guru, dan orang tua yang meliputi kesadaran sosial dan fasilitas sosial. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan social intelligence pada diri siswa dengan menyelenggarakan program layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Penyelenggaraan bimbingan dan konseling didasari pada upaya memfasilitasi siswa agar mampu mengembangkan potensi dirinya atau mencapai tugas-tugas perkembangannya. Tujuan penelitian adalah menggambarkan secara empirik profil social intelligence siswa Kelas XI dan implikasinya terhadap layanan bimbingan sosial di SMAN 10 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah siswa Kelas XI SMAN 10 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Hasil Penelitian: (1) sebagian besar siswa memiliki social intelligence pada kategori sedang; (2) program layanan bimbingan dan konseling disusun berdasarkan hasil penelitian berkenaan dengan social intelligence yang telah diperoleh. Rekomendasi diberikan kepada pihak-pihak yang terlibat langsung dalam meningkatkan social intelligence antara lain; pihak sekolah, dan guru bimbingan dan konseling.;---Social intelligence is the interaction ability of 11th grade students of SMAN 10 Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019 with peers, teachers, and parents which includes social awareness and social facilities. Holding guidance and counseling programs can be an effort to improve social intelligence in students. Providing guidance and counseling is an effort to facilitate the students to be able to develop their potential or achieve their developmental tasks. The aims of the research are to describe empirically the social intelligence profile of 11th grade students and their implications for social guidance services at SMAN 10 Bandung Academic Year 2018-2019. The samples in the study were 11th grade students of SMAN 10 Bandung Academic Year 2018-2019. The results of this research are (1) most students have social intelligence in the medium category; (2) guidance and counseling programs are prepared based on the results of research regarding social intelligence that has been obtained before. Recommendations are given to some parties who are directly involved in improving social intelligence include; the school, and the guidance and counseling teacher.
