Abstract

Penelitian ini diangkat dari kejadian di lapangan dan dilakukan untuk menjawab pertanyaan dari penelitian “Apakah penerapan Scramble game dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penyusunan struktur kalimat sederhana pada anak tunarungu di SLB Negeri Pangeran Cakrabuana Kabupaten Cirebon?”. Tujuan penelitin ini adalah ingin menetahui penerapan scramble game pada kemampuan penyusunan struktur kalimat sederhana anak tunarungu sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan itervensi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimen denngan desain Singgle subject Research (SSR). Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu seorang anak tunarungu kelas VIII di SLB Negeri pangeran Cakrabuana Kabupaten Cirebon yang mengalami kesulitan dalam penyusunan struktur kalimat sederhana dengan baik dan benar. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 16 kali pertemuan. Hasil yang direpoleh dalam penerapan scramble game terhadap kemampuan penyusunan struktur kalimat sederhana berupa kartu kata bergambar kegiatan sehari-hari yang berada dilingkungannya dan perubahan anak tunarungu yang sebelumnya dalam penyusunan kalimat sederhana masi suka terbalik balik dalam penempatannya, setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan scramble game dengan kartu kata bergambar terlihat adanya peningkatan kemampuan dalam penyusunan struktur kalimat sederhana pada subjek NA, hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor mean level. Dimana mean level pada kondisi A-1 sebesar 65,6%, meningkat pada kondisi B dengan mean level menjadi 99,1 %, dan meningkat kembali pada kondisi A-2 dengan ditunjukkan mean level sebesar 100%. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan alternative strategi pembelajaran, khususnya bagi guru yang mengajar anak tunarungu untuk dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif serta anak akan lebih aktip dalam pembelajaran penyusunan struktur kalimat sederhana dengan menggunakan scramble game.;---This research was backgrounded by facts that happened in the real life and was conducted to answer a questions from the study "Is the application of Scramble games can increase the ability of simple sentence structure preparation for hearing impairment in SLB Negeri Pangeran Cakrabuana Cirebon District?". The purpose of this research was to know the application of scramble game to the ability preparation of simple sentence structures for hearing impairment before and after the intervention. The research method used in this study is the experimental method with the Singgle subject Research (SSR) design. Subjects in this study were a hearing impairment child in class VIII in SLB Negeri Pangeran Cakrabuana, Cirebon Regency who had difficulty in arranging a simple sentence structure properly and correctly. This study was conducted in 16 meetings. The results obtained in the application of scramble game on the ability to compose simple sentence structures in the form of illustrated word cards daily activities that were in their environment and changes in hearing impairment children who previously in the preparation of simple sentences still like to be reversed in their placement, after gave a learning by scramble games with word cards pictorial, there is an increase in the ability in the preparation of simple sentence structures on the subject NA, this can be seen from the mean level score. Where the mean level of condition A-1 is 65.6%, it increases in condition B with the mean level to 99.1%, and increases again in condition A-2 by showing the mean level of 100%. This research can provide alternative learning strategies, especially for teachers who teach deaf children to be able to improve receptive and expressive language learning and children will be more active in learning simple sentence structure preparation using game scrambles.
