    Abstract

    Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan respon pada sikap siswa perlu adanya peningkatan khususnya pada proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran Project Based Learning adalah pembelajaran yang menjadikan proyek atau kegiatan sebagai inti pembelajaran. serta berpusat pada siswa sedangkan guru hanya sebagai fasilitator dimana guru memberikan arahan-arahan kepada siswa mengenai proses pengerjaan pada proyek tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran Project based Learning dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaranLangsung, serta mengetahui pencapaian pada respon sikap keaktifan belajar matematis siswa terhadap masing-masing pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen dengan populasinya yaitu siswa-siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Dipilih kelas sampel secara acak yaitu kelas VII-3 sebagai kelas Kontrol dengan pembelajaran Langsung dan VII-6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran Project Based Learning . Data yang diperoleh merupakan hasil dari pretes, postes, angket dan lembar observasi, dengan teknik analisis data tes dan non tes menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji perbedaan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran Project Based Learning lebih baik dari pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran Langsung, serta pencapaian pada sikap keaktifan belajar matematis siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol.;--The students' mathematical communication skills and student attitudes must still be improved. Project Based Learning Learning is the learning that makes the project or activity the core of learning. as well as student-centered while the teacher only as a facilitator .. Based on this, this study aims to determine the improvement of mathematical communication skills of students who get the learning of Project-Based Learning and students who acquired learningLangsung, and know the achievement of the students' active learning attitude to each learning. This research uses quasi experimental design with its population that is students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Bandung even semester of academic year 2017/2018. Selected random sample class is VII-6 class as Control class with Direct learning and VII-3 as experiment class with Project Based Learning learning. The data obtained is the result of pretest, postes, questionnaires and observation sheets, with the technique of test data analysis and non test using normality test, homogeneity test and difference test. The result of the research shows that the improvement of mathematical communication ability of students who get the learning of Project Based Learning is higher of the students who acquired Direct learning, as well as the achievement of the liveliness attitude of students' mathematical learning in the experimental class is better than the control class.
