Abstract

Model penilaian pada kurikulum 2013 mempunyai salah satu ciri yang menonjol yaitu mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik (Higher Order Thinking Skill/HOTS). Berdasarkan hasil Trends in International Mathematics and Science study (TIMSS) dan Programme for International Students Assessment (PISA), kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik Indonesia masih rendah. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengadakan pembelajaran yang dapat mengasah kemampuan berpikir peserta didik dan membiasakan peserta didik berlatih soal berbasis HOTS. Namun pada kenyataannya, soal-soal yang digunakan saat ini belum memenuhi kriteria HOTS. Mata Pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti sebagai salah satu mata pelajaran wajib di sekolah juga memberlakukan model penilaian ini. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengembangkan instrumen soal UAS mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti SMP berbasis HOTS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian campuran dengan model sequential exploratory yaitu penggunaan metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif secara berurutan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 215 peserta didik dari tiga sekolah yaitu SMPN 40 Bandung, SMPN 15 Bandung dan SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada lima langkah tahap pengembangan instrumen soal HOTS, (2) Dari 60 butir soal yang diujicobakan terdapat 46 butir soal valid, (3) Instrumen soal ini memiliki nilai reliabilitas tinggi dengan nilai sebesar 0,76, (4) Berdasarkan tingkat kesukarannya ditemukan 23 soal berdaya beda baik, 19 butir soal berdaya beda cukup baik, 10 butir soal berdaya beda jelek dan 8 butir soal berdaya beda jelek sekali, (5) Berdasarkan tingkat kesukarannya terdapat 37 butir soal berkategori sedang, 11 item soal berkategori sukar, 6 item soal berkategori mudah, 5 item berkategori sangat sukar dan 1 item soal berkategori sangat mudah.;---The assessment model in the 2013 curriculum has one of the prominent features of measuring high-level thinking Skill of learners (Higher Order Thinking Skill/HOTS). Based on the results of Trends in International Mathematics and Science study (TIMSS) and Programme for International Students Assessment (PISA), the thinking ability of Indonesian students is still low. Increasing the ability of high-level thinking can be done by holding a lesson that can hone the thinking ability of learners and familiarize learners practicing questions based on HOTS. However, in reality, the questions currently used do not meet the HOTS criteria. PAI subjects and character as one of the compulsory subjects in school also apply this assessment model. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of developing the question instrument of UAS subject of PAI and Budi Pekerti SMP based on HOTS. The research method used in this research is mixed research method with sequential exploratory model that is the use of qualitative method and quantitative method in sequence. This study involves 215 students from three schools those are SMPN 40 Bandung, SMP 15 Bandung and SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. The results of the research indicate that: (1) there are five steps in the development stage of the HOTS question instrument, (2) Of the 60 items tested there are 46 items valid, (3) The instrument of this question has a high reliability value with a value of 0.76, (4) Based on the level of difficulty found 23 different good questions, 19 different quite good questions, 10 different bad questions and 8 different poor questions, (5) Based on the difficulty level there were 37 items with moderate category, 11 items of difficult questions, 6 items easy categorized questions, 5 items are very difficult category and 1 item question is very easy category.
