Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa pada saat pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi laporan hasil pengamatan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut peneliti menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe STAD. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang terletak di Kota Bandung dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe stad pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi laporan hasil pengamatan dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) observasi dan 4) refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, catatan lapangan, lembar tes, pedoman wawancara dan lembar observasi keaktifan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 67% dengan kategori baik, sedangkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus II sebesar 84% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe stad pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi laporan hasil pengamatan dapat meningkatkan keaktian belajar siswa. ------- This research is motivated by the low activity of student learning at the time of learning Indonesian material report of observation result. To solve the problem, the researcher applied cooperative learning type STAD model. Participants of this research are the fourth graders of State Elementary School located in Bandung with 33 students. This study aims to describe the implementation of learning by applying the model of cooperative learning type stad on learning Indonesian material reports the results of observations and describe the increasing activity of students learning. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart consisting of four stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation and 4) reflection. The research instrument used in the form of observation sheet of teacher and student activity, field note, test sheet, interview guide and observation sheet of student learning activity. The result of research of student's learning activity in cycle I is 67% with good category, while student learning activity in cycle II equal to 84% with very good category. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the application of cooperative learning model of stad type in Indonesian learning material of observation report can improve students' learning skill.
