Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di kelas II di SDN X pada mata pelajaran matematika. Hal ini ditandai dengan nilai hasil belajar sebagian besar yang diperoleh siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika tidak mencapai KKM yaitu 18 orang dan nilai KKM yaitu 65. Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model realistics mathematic education (RME) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika Di Kelas II SDN X. Tujuan khusus penelitian tindakan kelas ini tentang penerapan model RME. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah model Kemmis dan mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari perencaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas kelas IIB di SDN X. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan lembar tes hasil belajar siswa. Temuan penelitian dengan menerapkan model RME pada mata pelajaran matematika menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dari data awal pra siklus dapat diketahui bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang tuntas sebesar 30,76% dan nilai rata-rata 55,9. Pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas hasil belajarnya adalah sebesar 61,53% atau sebanyak 16 orang dari 26 orang jumlah siswa dan nilai rata-rata 70,5. Sedangkan pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang tuntas hasil belajarnya adalah sebesar 84,61 % atau sebanyak 22 orang dari 26 orang jumlah siswa dan nilai rata-rata 87,9. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model realistics mathematic education pada mata pelajarann matematika memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SDN X di kota Bandung. ;---This classroom action research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in second grade in SDN X on mathematics subjects. This is marked by the value of learning outcomes most of the students obtained on mathematics subjects did not reach KKM that is 18 people and the value of KKM is 65. The general purpose of this study is to describe the application of realistic mathematic education (RME) model to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in Class II SDN X. The specific purpose of this classroom action research is on applying the RME model. The models used in this classroom action research are the Kemmis and mc models. Taggart which consists of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. This study was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research are class IIB students in SDN X. Data collection tool used is the observation sheet and test sheet of student learning outcomes. The findings of the research by applying the RME model to the mathematics subjects showed an increase in student learning outcomes. From preliminary pre-cycle data it can be seen that the result of student learning is complete 30,76% and average value 55,9. In the first cycle the number of students who complete the learning outcome is 61.53% or as many as 16 people from 26 people the number of students and the average value of 70.5. While in the second cycle the number of students who complete the learning outcome is equal to 84.61% or as many as 22 people from 26 people the number of students and the average value of 87.9. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of realistic mathematic education model on mathematics subjects gives a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes in SDN X in Bandung.
