Abstract
STRUKTUR FAKTUAL DAN KELAS SOSIAL DALAM NOVEL MIMPI-MIMPI LINTANG MARYAMAH KARPOV KARYA ANDREA HIRATA DAN PENERAPANNYA SEBAGAI BAHAN PENGAJARAN SASTRA DI SMA ABSTRAK Yasminiati, Kiki “Kajian Kelas Sosial Dalam novel Mimpi-mimpi LintangMaryamah Karpov Karya Andrea Hirata dan Penerapannya Sebagai Bahan Pengajaran Sastra di SMA”. Tesis SPS UPI. Hasil penelitian ini sesuai dengan rumusan masalah berupa, bagaimana novel Mimpi-MimpiLintang Maryamah Karpovkarya Andrea Hirata ditinjau dari kajian struktur faktual, bagaimana persoalan kelas sosial direpresentasikan dalam novel tersebutdan bagaimana penerapan kajiannovel tersebut sebagai bahan pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Dari novel tersebut siswa dapat memahami kelas-kelas sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat pada umumnya, di lingkungan sekitar, mungkin juga yang dialami mereka saat ini. Mengingat novel sebagaisalahsatupembelajaran sastra yang pentingdi sekolah, novel merupakan mimesis atautiruankehidupanmasyarakat yang sebenarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan teknik penelitian menganalisis dari Novel Mimpi-MimpiLintang Maryamah Karpovkarya Andrea Hirata yang merupakansalahsatu novel tetralogiLaskarPelangibukukeempat. Pendeskripsian dilakukan denganmenganalisisstrukturfaktual, alur, tokohdanpenokohan, serta latar, denganmengacupadaukuranpendapatan, pekerjaan, pendidikandankedudukantokohdalamceritaterseut, sehinggadapatdilihatklasifikasilapisanmasyarakat di dalamnya, yang terdiridarimasyarakatlapisankelasatas, menengahdanbawah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Mimpi-MimpiLintang Maryamah Karpovkarya Andrea Hirataisinyasaratdengankelassosial di banding ketiga novel lainnya. Kelassosial yang terjadi di dalamnyalebihbervariatifdankompleks. Kajian kelas sosial pada novel ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di SMA kelas XII, berupa modul kesusastraan. Pesan moral yang terkandung dari kajian ini adalah siswa dapat mengetahui, memahami karakteristik masyarakat, budaya, nilai-nilai sosial, juga faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya pengelompokan tersebut. Thesis SPS UPI. The outcome of this research approved with the following problem statements, how the novel of Mimpi-mimpiLintangMaryamahKarpov that Created by Andre Hirata observed from factual structure study, how the social class matters is represented in the novel and how the implementation of that studies as senior high school’s literature module. According to this thesis, the students could more understand to social class that generally happened in the society, indeed what happen present. Considering that the novel is one of important of literature studies in school, and novel is a mimesis of a duplication of truly social life. This research uses descriptive method, with analytical technique research from the novel of Mimpi-mimpiLintang: MaryamahKarpov that created Andrea Hirata in which it is the fourth novel of tetralogy novels of LaskarPelangi. The description uses the analysis method of factual structure, plot, background that refer to many argumentations, educations, and position level of characters in that novel story, so we could recognize the level of society such as high class, middle class, and lower or under class level of society. Then, the outcome of research shows that the novel of Mimpi-mimpiLintang: MaryamahKarpov that created by Andre Hirata is more containing of social class issues than the three others novel. Finally, the social class study of this novel is definitely useful as a source of literature appreciation and literature module of twelfth class of senior high school. Besides, many morality value are contained in the research such as; every student could know and understand into social characteristics, cultures, and factors of classification that caused in social live.
