Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka hadir untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih sesuai dengan minat, bakat, dan kemampuan siswa sehingga memudahkan siswa untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar yang optimal. Namun, masih ada permasalahan terkait rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pilihan Fisika di kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Untuk itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi aspek serta unsur-unsur suasana belajar dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan berpotensi dapat mengatasi permasalahan terkait rendahnya hasil belajar siswa melalui optimalisasi aspek dan unsur-unsur suasana belajar dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI yang mempelajari Fisika, dengan sampel 77 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik simple survei melalui kuesioner daring dengan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suasana belajar interaktif yang diinginkan siswa adalah suasana yang menghadirkan kegiatan diskusi kelompok, presentasi, dan kunjungan ilmiah. Suasana inspiratif yang diharapkan adalah penyediaan contoh konkret, arahan sikap yang baik, dan demonstrasi oleh guru. Suasana menyenangkan dibutuhkan melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran menarik, candaan guru, dan kegiatan ice breaking. Suasana menantang dibutuhkan melalui penggunaan alat peraga, proyek sederhana, dan eksplorasi materi menggunakan gadget. Suasana belajar memotivasi yang diperlukan adalah melalui pemberian nilai tambahan untuk partisipasi aktif, serta apresiasi nonverbal. Terakhir, suasana yang memberikan ruang kreativitas diharapkan melalui kebebasan berpendapat, peran dalam kelompok, dan umpan balik konstruktif dari guru. Dari enam aspek suasana belajar yang ada, tiga aspek yang paling siswa butuhkan adalah aspek suasana belajar yang memberikan ruang cukup bagi kreativitas siswa, inspiratif, dan menyenangkan. Dengan menciptakan suasana belajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pembelajaran serta hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi sekolah dan guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan proses pembelajaran yang lebih optimal sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Kurikulum Merdeka exists to create learning that is more suited to students' interests, talents and abilities, making it easier for students to get optimal learning outcomes. However, there are still problems related to the low learning outcomes of 11th grade students in the Physics at SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. For this reason, this research was conducted to identify aspects and elements of the learning atmosphere in the Merdeka Curriculum that are in accordance with student needs and have the potential to overcome problems related to low student learning outcomes through optimizing aspects and elements of the learning atmosphere in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The research population was all 11th grade students studying Physics, with a sample of 77 students. Data is collected using a simple survey technique via online questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research results show that an interactive learning atmosphere is desired by students, one that presents group discussion activities, presentations and scientific visits. The expected inspiring atmosphere is the provision of concrete examples, guidance on good attitudes, and demonstrations by teachers. A fun atmosphere is needed through the use of interesting learning media, teacher jokes and ice breaking. A challenging atmosphere is required through the use of props, practical projects, and exploration of materials using personal gadget. A motivating atmosphere is needed with additional value for active participation, as well as nonverbal appreciation. Lastly, an atmosphere that provides space for creativity is expected through freedom of opinion, roles in groups, and constructive feedback from the teacher. Of the six aspects of the existing learning atmosphere, the three aspects that students need most are aspects of a learning atmosphere that provides sufficient space for student creativity, is inspiring and fun. By creating a learning atmosphere that suits students' needs, it is hoped that it can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning as well as student learning outcomes in Physics. This research provides important implications for schools and teachers in designing and implementing more optimal learning processes according to student needs.
