    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca nyaring peserta didik fase A dengan menggunakan media cerita bergambar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik fase A (kelas II) sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus dan melalui empat tahapan yang mencakup (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes membaca nyaring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca nyaring peserta didik fase A (kelas II) dengan peningkatan keberhasilan pada siklus I sebesar 51,85%, siklus II sebesar 96,29%, dan siklus III sebesar 96,29%.

    This study aims to improve the reading aloud skills of phase A students using illustrated story media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the research subjects being phase A students (grade II) of elementary school. This research was conducted in three cycles and through four stages including (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Data were obtained through observation and reading aloud tests. The results of the study showed that illustrated story media can improve the reading aloud skills of phase A students (grade II) with an increase in success in cycle I of 51.85%, cycle II of 96.29%, and cycle III of 96.29%.
