    Abstract

    The motive behind the designing of History of Majapahit Kingdom illustrated in speculative fiction and alternative history genre as a media to learn history in high school is the fact that many younger people are not very interested in this topic. This design aims to conceptualize and describe the visualization of the illustrated storybook. The research method used for this design is qualitative method with data collection processes that are carried out through literature or document studies, surveys, interviews, and observations. The result of this design is an educational media in the form of illustrated storybook that promotes the history of Majapahit Kingdom that is combined with modern touches such as fiction, such as speculative fiction and alternative history, which can attract even more younger audiences. It is hoped that this illustrated story book can be used as an alternative educational media for students to recognize the history of the Majapahit Kingdom through visual media that attracts their attention.
