Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya keterampilan siswa mengoperasikan microsoft word pada Mata Pelajaran Teknologi Perkantoran Kelas X MPLB di SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. Masalah ini penting untuk dikaji karena keterampilan mengoperasikan microsoft word adalah salah satu keterampilan dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dengan program keahlian perkantoran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dan tingkat keterampilan siswa mengoperasikan microsoft word. Selain itu, tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dari metode pembelajaran demonstrasi terhadap keterampilan siswa mengoperasikan microsoft word. Teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Belajar Behaviorisme dari Gagne dan Berliner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survei eksplanatori. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket (kuesioner) menggunakan model skala likert dengan ukuran sampel 33 siswa Kelas X MPLB SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi berada pada kategori baik dan tingkat keterampilan siswa mengoperasikan microsoft word berada pada kategori cukup tinggi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran demonstrasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan siswa mengoperasikan microsoft word pada Mata Pelajaran Teknologi Perkantoran Kelas X MPLB di SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. Dengan demikian, metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa mengoperasikan microsoft word. The problem studied in this study is the low skills of students operating Microsoft Word in the Class X MPLB Office Technology Subject at SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. This problem is important to study because the skill to operate Microsoft Word is one of the basic skills that must be possessed by students with office skills programs. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of the demonstration learning method and the level of students' skills in operating Microsoft Word. In addition, the purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of the demonstration learning method on students' skills in operating Microsoft Word. The theory used is the behaviorism-learning theory of Gagne and Berliner. The research method used is the explanatory survey method. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires using the likert scale model with a sample size of 33 students from Class X MPLB SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis technique. The results of the data analysis show that the level of application of the demonstration learning method is in the good category and the skill level of students operating Microsoft Word is in the fairly high category. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the demonstration learning method had a positive and significant effect on students' skills in operating Microsoft Word in the Class X MPLB Office Technology Subject at SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. Thus, the demonstration learning method can improve students' skills in operating Microsoft Word.
