Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta yang terjadi di lapangan, bahwa kemampuan menulis surat dinas peserta didik masih banyak berada di bawah KKM mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini diujicobakan strategi pembelajaran 3M (mengamati, Meniru, Menambahi) berbantuan media audio visual. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan strategi 3M (Mengamati, Meniru, Menambahi) berbantuan media audio visual dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan strategi tersebut. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Lembang tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah 62 peserta didik yang terbagi menjadi 31 peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan 31 peserta didik di kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design. Hasil pretest di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 38,4, sedangkan kelas kontrol 39,33. Hasil posttest di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 81,8, sedangkan kelas kontrol 51. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh asymp Ibn 2 tailed (0,00) <signifikasi (0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa H_0 atau hipotesis nol ditolak dan H_a diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan peserta didik dalam menulis surat dinas sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Strategi 3M (Mengamati, Meniru, Menambahi) berbantuan media audio visual terbukti efektif untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran menulis surat dinas. This research is motivated by the facts that occur in the field, that the ability to write official letters of students is still under the KKM of Indonesian subjects. In this study the 3M learning strategy (Observing, Imitating, Adding) was assisted by audio-visual media. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were significant differences between the experimental classes whose learning processes used the 3M strategy (Observing, Imitating, Adding) assisted by audio visual media and control classes that did not use the strategy. The sample in this study were grade VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Lembang in the academic year 2019/2020 with 62 students divided into 31 students in the experimental class and 31 students in the control class. The method in this study uses a quasi-experimental method with a Pre-test and Post-test one Group Design research design. The results of the pretest in the experimental class showed an average value of 38.4, while the control class was 39.33. The results of the posttest in the experimental class showed an average value of 81.8, while the control class was 51. Based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained asymp Ibn 2 tailed (0.00) <significance (0.05) which indicates that H_0 or the null hypothesis is rejected which means there are significant differences in the ability of students to write official letters before and after treatment is given. The 3M Strategy (Observing, Imitating, Adding) assisted by audio-visual media proved effective to be applied in the learning process of writing official letters.
