Abstract
Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung, pada Mata Pelajaran Administrasi Humas dan Protokol. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada hasil belajar siswa yang rata-rata nilainya masih di bawah KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji seberapa besar pengaruh menerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review pada kompetensi dasar Menguraikan Organisasi Profesi Humas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kuasi Eksperimen (quasi experimental design) dengan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas, yaitu kelas ekserimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan Discovery Learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dimana hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen yang menggunkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan Discovery Learning.---The problem under research is the low learning outcomes of eleventh grade students of Office Administration Expertise Program at SMK Pasundan 1 Bandung in the subject of Public Relations Administration and Protocol. This finding is based on the result of student evaluation that are still below the criteria of minimum completion or passing grade. The research aims to study the extend to which cooperative learning model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review type influences students’ learning outcomes of explain Public Relations Professional Organization. The method adopted was a quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group design. Participants of the research was divided into two classes, namely the experiimental class tought with cooperative learning model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review type and the control class thougt with Discovery Learning. The findings show that there was a difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, where the learning outcomes of experimental class students tought with cooperative learning model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review type were greater than those of control class students thougt with Discovery Learning.
