Abstract

Al- Qur`an merupakan kitab umat muslim diseluruh penjuru dunia yang memiliki peranan penting sebagai tuntunan hidup selama di dunia. Kita ketahui bahwa al- Qur`an banyak dihafal siswa pada lembaga pendidikan, khususnya pesantren, sebagai mata pelajaran tahfidz yang sangat penting. Banyak metode untuk menghafal al- Qur`an pada mata pelajaran ini, salah satunya dengan Metode Ritme Otak (MRO). Metode ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan hafalan al- Qur`an siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan ada tidaknya pengaruh Metode Ritme Otak (MRO) terhadap peningkatan hafalan al- Qur`an siswa dalam mata pelajaran Tahfidz al- Qur`an. Mayoritas siswa merasa kesulitan dalam menghafal al- Qur`an karena beberapa faktor, diantaranya metode menghafal yang kurang bervariatif sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi untuk menghafalnya. Karena itu, permasalahan ini dianggap penting untuk diteliti dan diangkat ke permukaan.Peneliti menggunakan metode Kuasi-eksperimen, dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memilih anggota kelompok eksperimen dan anggota kelompok kontrol masing-masing 15 orang. Selanjutnya kelompok eksperimen dikenai perlakuan (treatment) dengan Metode Ritme Otak (MRO), sementara kelompok kontrol tidak menerima perlakuan yang sama. Nilai pretest kelas kontrol 39,00, dan kelas eksperimen 38,00. Kemudian nilai posttest kelas kontrol 53,33, dan kelas eksperimen 72,33. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan menghafal al- Qur`an dengan Metode Ritme Otak (MRO) lebih meningkat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi peneliti khususnya, dan bagi lembaga yang mengajarkan Tahfidz Qur`an, terutama bagi siswa yang ingin meningkatkan kemampuan hafalan al- Qur`an. Al-Qur'an is a holly book of Muslims around the world that take an important role as a guidance of life in the world. As we know that Al-Qur’an is memorized by many students in educational institutions, especially boarding school, as an important part in tahfidz subject. There are various methods for memorizing al-Qur'an on this subject, such as Brain Rhythm Method (MRO). This method is intended to improve students' recitation of al-Qur'an. This study aims to find the effect of Brain Rhythm Method (MRO) to increase students' recitation of al-Qur'an in Tahfidz subjects. Most of the students had difficulty in memorizing al-Qur'an because of several factors, such as memorization methods that are lack of variation. As the consequences, the students are less motivated to memorize Al-Quran. Therefore, this crucial issue should be investigated well and exposed in this research. This research applied quasi-experimental methods in combined with designs Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. In this study, the researcher chose members of the experimental group and control group members (N=15). Furthermore, the experimental group had the treatment using Brain Rhythm Method (MRO), while the control group did not receive the same treatment. The result showed that pretest value control class has 39.00 and experimental class achieved 38.00. Then, the score of posttest control class gained 53.33 and the experimental class was 72.33. These results indicate that the ability to memorize Al-Qur'an using Brain Rhythm Method (MRO) showed improvement. Thus, this study could give benefits for the researchers, the institutions that teach Tahfidz Qur'an, especially for students who want to improve the ability of al-Qur'an memorization.
