Abstract
Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam menumbuh kembangkan karakter dalam diri peserta didik, salah satunya melalui pembelajaran di kelas. Karakter toleransi merupakan salah satu karakter yang dikembangkan dalam Kurikulum 2013, khususnya pada jenjang kelas VII. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk menemukan nilai-nilai toleransi beragama dalam Kurikulum PAI 2013, kemudian sebaran nilai karakter toleransi beragama dalam buku teks Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas VII Kurikulum 2013, serta implikasi nilai karakter toleransi beragama terhadap pembelajaran PAI. Mengingat Negara Indonesia memiliki banyak agama serta kepercayaan yang dianut oleh masyarakatnya, sehingga dituntut untuk dapat hidup berdampingan di tengah perbedaan yang ada, agar tercipta kehidupan yang harmonis, dengan saling menghormati dan saling menghargai satu sama lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi eksploratif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi dari berbagai sumber, seperti Kurikulum 2013 kelas VII, buku teks Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas VII Kurikulum 2013, serta jurnal yang memiliki hubungan dengan implikasi nilai karakter toleransi beragama terhadap pembelajaran PAI. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa di dalam Kurikulum PAI 2013 kelas VII serta buku teks Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti ditemukan adanya muatan karakter toleransi agama seperti menjaga persatuan, kesatuan, demokratis, tidak bersikap egois, berbuat baik terhadap sesama (ramah, sopan, saling menyayangi), menjalin persaudaraan dengan non-muslim, empati terhadap sesama, memberikan hak kebebasan, menghormati dan menghargai pihak lain dalam menentukan agamanya, dan memberikan rasa aman. saling peduli, toleransi, gotong royong, dan santun. Adapun implikasi dari penanaman karakter toleransi agama tersebut, kelak akan menciptakan kenyamanan dalam hidup dan berinteraksi sosial. The character of tolerance is one of the characters developed in the 2013 curriculum, especially at the seventh grade level. This research was made with the aim of finding the values of religious tolerance in the 2013 PAI Curriculum, then the distribution of the character values of religious tolerance in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education textbooks class VII Curriculum 2013, as well as the implications of the character values of religious tolerance for Islamic Religious Education learning. Considering that the State of Indonesia has many religions and beliefs that are adhered to by its people, so it is required to be able to live side by side in the midst of existing differences, in order to create a harmonious life, with mutual respect and respect for one another. This study used a qualitative approach with exploratory study methods. The data collection process was carried out through documentation from various sources, such as the 2013 Class VII Curriculum, Islamic Religious Education textbooks and Class VII Curriculum 2013 Characteristics, as well as journals that have a relationship with the implications of the character values of religious tolerance for Islamic Religious Education learning. The results of the study found that in the 2013 PAI Curriculum class VII as well as the Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education text books, it was found that there were contents of the character of religious tolerance such as maintaining unity, unity, democracy, not being selfish, doing good to others (friendly, polite, loving each other). , establishing brotherhood with non-Muslims, empathy for others, giving the right to freedom, respect and appreciate other parties in determining their religion, and provide a sense of security. mutual care, tolerance, mutual cooperation, and courtesy. The implications of cultivating the character of religious tolerance will create comfort in life and social interaction.
