Abstract
ABSTRAK PERAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS BUDAYA TERHADAP MINAT DAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI PERUBAHAN WUJUD BENDA Oleh Rexsa Ali Topan 1806013 Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pentingnya minat belajar yang positif serta pemahaman konsep yang tinggi dari peserta didik agar nantinya mampu memahami materi pelajaran. Pembelajaran dengan berbasis budaya merupakan contoh alternatif desain pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan minat serta pemahaman konsep peserta didik. kebudayaan dalam pembelajaran berbasis budaya ini dapat berupa media pembelajaran, metode yang digunakan ataupun dapat dimasukan kedalam soal tes. Deskriptif kuantitatif merupakan metode yang dipilih dalam penelitian dengan pre-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design sebagai desain penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD yang ada di wilayah Desa Cipeundeuy Kecamatan Jatinunggal, Kabupaten Sumedang. Sedangkan yang menjadi sampel merupakan peserta didik kelas V di SDNaCipeundeuy. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa pedoman observasi, angket minat, dan soal tes pemahaman konsep. Dari hasil penelitian mendapati bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis budaya mendapatkan rata-rata skor 94% yang berarti sudah berjalan dengan baik sekali. Minat belajar peserta didik setelah pembelajaran berbasis budaya sangat positif merujuk pada hasil angket mendapatkan rata-rata skor 85,92%. Pemahaman konsep peserta didik meningkat setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan pembelajaran berbasis budaya. Dengan rata-rata nilai pretest 59% dan posttest 81%. Kemudian, pembelajaran berbasis budaya berdasarkan uji N-gain memiliki peran sebesar 0,56 dengan interpretasi sedang terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Budaya, Minat, Pemahaman Konsep ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF CULTURE-BASED LEARNING ON THE INTEREST AND CONCEPTS UNDERSTANDING OF STUDENTS IN THE CHANGES OF OBJECTS By Rexsa Ali Topan 1806013 This research was conducted based on the importance of positive learning interest and high conceptual understanding of students so that later they were able to understand the subject matter. Culture-based learning is an alternative example of learning design to increase students' interest and understanding of concepts. Culture in culture-based learning can be in the form of learning media, the methods used or can be included in the test questions. Quantitative descriptive is the method chosen in the research with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design as the research design. The population in this research is all fifth grade elementary school students in Cipeundeuy village, Jatinunggal District, Sumedang Regency. Meanwhile, the sample is class V students ataSDN Cipeundeuy. The instruments in this study were observation guidelines, interest questionnaires, and concept understanding test questions. From the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of culture-based learning got an average score of 94%, which means it has been going very well. Students' learning interest after culture-based learning is very positive, referring to the results of the questionnaire getting an average score of 85.92%. Understanding of students' concepts increases after being given treatment with culturebased learning. With an average value of 59% pretest and 81% posttest. Then, culturebased learning based on the N-gain has a role of 0.56 with a moderate interpretation of students' understanding of concepts.
