Abstract
Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi pembagian, diduga banyak sekali kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya karena kurangnya penjelasan guru tentang konsep pembagian, kurangnya penggunaan alat peraga dan kurangnya perhatian siswa ketika kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini ditujukan pada penerapan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran matematika tentang konsep pembagian. Berdasarkan pemasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui pembelajaran matematika tentang konsep pembagian siswa kelas III SDN Kasomalang VI dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi dan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika tentang konsep pembagian siswa kelas III SDN Kasomalang VI dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang diarahkan untuk memecahkan masalah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara timbal balik membentuk spiral: penyusunan rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, evaluasi dan refleksi. teknis pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi, wawancara, lembar angket dan tes hasil belajar. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III SDN Kasomalang VI yang berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan metode demonstrasi sangat kurang, nilai rata-rata hanya 59,75 dibawah standar KKM yaitu 65. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi hasil belajar siswa terus meningkat. Terdapat peningkatan yang lebih baik dari nilai siklus pertama, nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 74,5 atau sebanyak 65% siwa yang mencapai KKM sampai siklus ke dua terus meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 84 atau sebanyak 85% siswa yang mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN Kasomalang VI pada pembelajaran matematika tentang konsep pembagian. Adapun saran untuk tercapainya keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran matematika, guru hendaknya berupaya untuk menciptakan dan mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan perhatian siswa, salah satunya dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi. This study aimed at learning the application of mathematical methods in the demonstration of the concept of division. Things are based on these, the research objectives to be achieved is to investigate the application of methods of demonstration on mathematics learning of the concept of division III grade students of SDN Kasomalang VI, and to know the results of mathematical learning about the concept of division III grade students of SDN Kasomalang VI by applying methods of demonstration. The method used is a Class Action Research (PTK). This research is aimed to solve the problem. This activity is carried out reciprocal spirals: action planning, action execution, observation, evaluation and reflection. technical data collection sheet used include observation, interviews, questionnaires and test results sheet to learn. Research subjects are students in grade III SDN Kasomalang VI numbering 20 people. The study conducted showed that the learning outcomes of students prior to using the method of demonstration is lacking, the average value of only 59.75 KKM under the standard at 65. After learning by using students' demonstration of the method continues to increase. There is a better enhancement of the value of the first cycle, the average value of 74.5 or students achieve as much as 65% of Siwa who reached the second cycle of KKM to continue to increase with the average student as 84 or as much as 85% of students who reach the KKM. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of demonstration methods can enhance students' grade III SDN Kasomalang VI on mathematics learning of the concept of division. As for advice for achieving success in mathematics learning, teachers should strive to create and develop a learning process that can improve learning outcomes and students' attention, one of them by applying the method of demonstration.
