Abstract

Belajar merupakan kegiatan inti dari proses pendidikan di sekolah, pembelajaran di sekolah merupakan interaksi belajar mengajar antara guru dan siswa. Dengan proses pembelajaran yang baik, maka tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai sehingga siswa mengalami perubahan perilaku melalui kegiatan belajar. Disiplin belajar dapat diterapkan untuk menunjang tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar yang optimal. Namun, beberapa siswa tidak mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah, mengganggu teman saat belajar, tidak kondusif saat upacara, dan tidak membuang sampah pada tempatnya, kondisi ini menunjukkan kurangnya disiplin belajar pada siswa sehingga proses pembelajaran tidak berjalan dengan kondusif yang mengakibatkan hasil yang didapat tidak maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan ada tidaknya hubungan antara hubungan disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi berjumlah 74 orang yang merupakan siswa SD kelas V, teknik sampel yang digunakan merupakan teknik sampel jenuh. Data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran instrumen penelitian berupa angket disiplin belajar serta hasil studi dokumentasi siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) disiplin belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 71,6%, (2) hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 54,1%, (3) nilai koefisien korelasi disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 0,368 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,001 sehingga tergolong dalam kategori rendah. Dengan nilai koefisiensi korelasi sebesar 0,368 maka koefisien determinasi pada penelitian ini adalah 13,5% yang tergolong pada kategori rendah. Sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa sebesar 13,5% hasil belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor disiplin belajar dan 86,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lainnya. Learning is the core activity in education process at school. Learning activity at school is a teaching-learning interaction between the teacher and student. With a good learning process, the learning objective can be achieved and makes the students experience the change of their attitudes through learning activity. The implementation of learning discipline can help to accomplish the learning objective and optimal learning outcomes. However, some of the students do not do their homework, disturb their friends while studying, do not throw the trash into the trash can and also they are noisy during the flag ceremony. These conditions show that there is lack of learning discipline on student. It makes the learning process do not run smoothly which leads to bad learning outcomes. This research aims to prove whether there is a relation between learning discipline and student learning outcomes or not. The method that is used in this research is quantitative method with correlation model. The population consists of 74 people which are 5th grade students. The sample technique that is used in this research is saturated sample. The data collection is collected from the distributed instrument in a form of a questionnaire about learning discipline and the document of students’ study result. The result of this research shows that: (1) learning discipline is in moderate category with 71,6% as its percentage, (2) the learning outcomes is in moderate category with 54,1% as its percentage, (3) the score of correlation coefficient between learning discipline and student learning outcomes is 0,368 with 0, 001 for the significant level which is in low category. The 0, 368 correlation coefficient score makes the coefficient of determination for this research is 13, 5% which is categorized as low category. It means that 13, 5% of students learning outcomes is affected by the factor of learning discipline and 86, 5% of students learning outcomes is affected by other factors.
