Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Jika melihat pembelajaran di sekolah, ternyata masih banyak guru yang kebingungan dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran PAI misalnya, masih banyak guru PAI yang hanya menerapkan metode ceramah saja sehingga pembelajaran agama terkesan sebagai ajaran doktrin. Sedangkan dalam pendidikan nonformal seperti pada lembaga pondok pesantren sudah memiliki metode pembelajaran yang khas, yaitu bandongan dan sorogan. Namun, pada realitanya masih banyak pondok pesantren yang kehilangan metode sorogan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi metode sorogan di pondok pesantren dan menemukan implikasi pedagogiknya terhadap pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif di mana peneliti merupakan instrumen utama. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen dan triangulasi. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam analisis data penelitian ini dimulai dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan serta verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Penerapan metode sorogan di pondok pesantren bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi santri agar memperdalam ilmu alat, menjadikan santri lebih aktif dan menyiapkan mentalnya tatkala pulang ke rumah; (2) Pelaksanaan metode sorogan ini dilakukan secara bersama-sama namun tetap para santri secara individual membaca kitab yang kemudian guru akan mengoreksinya. (3) Metode sorogan ini memiliki implikasi pedagogik berupa peningkatan keaktifan peserta didik dalam belajar, karena metode sorogan ini dapat diterapkan pada pendidikan formal dalam proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran. If you look at learning in schools, it turns out that there are still many teachers who are confused about applying learning methods. In PAI learning, for example, there are still many PAI teachers who only apply the lecture method so that religious learning is impressed as doctrinal teachings. Whereas in non-formal education such as the Islamic boarding school institutions, they already have specific learning methods, namely bandongan and sorogan. However, in reality there are still many Islamic boarding schools that have lost the sorogan method. This study aims to determine how the sorogan method is implemented in Islamic boarding schools and to find out its pedagogical implications for Islamic education learning in schools. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods in which the researcher was the main instrument. In data collection, researchers used observation, interview, document study and triangulation techniques. The steps in data analysis in this study began with data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and data verification. The results of this study are: (1) The application of the sorogan method in Islamic boarding schools aims to facilitate students to deepen their knowledge of tools, make them more active and prepare themselves mentally when they return home; (2) The sorogan method is carried out jointly, but the students individually read the book which the teacher will correct. (3) This sorogan method has pedagogic implications in the form of increasing the activeness of students in learning, because this sorogan method can be applied to formal education in the learning process and learning evaluation.
