Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR Pembelajaran IPS seyogyanya dapat membuat siswa memiliki keterampilan sosial yang baik. Keterampilan sosial di jenjang Sekolah Dasar tentu harus ada bimbingan guru sehingga pengembangan dan aplikasi keterampilan sosial dapat terlaksana. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk mengkaji bagaimana pengembangan keterampilan sosial siswa yang dilakukan guru dalam proses pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh siswa yang dihadapkan dengan era perubahan dunia sehingga karakternya memudar. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan keterampilan sosial yang ditempuh guru dalam aspek keterampilan berkomunikasi, bekerjasama, dan berinteraksi serta hambatan dan permasalahan yang dialami guru selama mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analisis. Penelitian ini di lakukan di SDN 013 Pasirkaliki Kota Bandung dengan subjek utama yaitu guru kelas IV. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar studi dokumen dan lembar wawancara. Hasil penelitian berupa (1) Pengembangan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa. Guru melakukan rancangan atau pelaksanaan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berkomunikasi. (2) Pengembangan keterampilan bekerjasama siswa. Guru melakukan rancangan atau pelaksanaan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan bekerjasama. (3) Pengembangan keterampilan berinteraksi siswa. Guru melakukan rancangan atau pelaksanaan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berinteraksi. (4) Hambatan dan permasalahan guru dalam pengembangan keterampilan sosial. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa guru menggunakan cara diskusi, kolaborasi, dan keikutsertaan siswa dengan kehidupan masyarakat untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berkomunikasi, bekerjasama, dan berinteraksi. Maka guru telah melakukan pengembangan keterampilan sosial siswa secara maksimal, dan guru dapat mengatasi hambatan dan permasalahan yang ditemui selama mengembangkan keterampilan sosial. ABSTRACT SOCIAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT IN SOCIAL STUDIES OF 4th GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Social studies should be able to make students have a good social skills. Social skills at the elementary school level must certainly have guidance from a teacher so that the development and application of social skills can be implemented. This is motivated the author to examine how the development of social skills carried out by a teacher in social studies. This research is motivated by students who are faced with the changing world, so that the good caracters faded. The focus of this research is to analyze and describe the development of social skills taken by a teacher in the aspects of communication skills, collaboration skills, and interacting skills, and the problem and the obstacles experiences by a teacher while development social skills. This research uses descriptive analyze research method. This research was conducted at 013 Pasirkaliki Bandung with the main subject is 4th grade teacher. Research instrument is the form of document study sheets and interview sheets. Research result is (1) development of student communication skills. The teacher design or implement activities in communication skills development. (2) development of student collaboration skills. The teacher design or implement activities in collaborative skills development. (3) development of student interaction skills. The teacher design or implement activities in interaction skills development. (4) Teacher problems and obstacles in developing social skills. In this research was found that a teacher uses the discussion, collaboration, and student participation with comunity’s life to develop the communication, collaboration, and interaction skills. So a teacher has maximum to developed the students’s social skills and a teacher can do the obstacles and the problems during developing social skills.
