Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan menulis siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran menulis yang dulu merupakan pelajaran dan latihan pokok, kini kurang mendapat perhatian, baik dari para siswa maupun guru. Pembelajaran menulis tidak ditangani dengan baik dan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran pengembangan media kartu bergambar berbantuan teknik pemodelan dalam menulis permulaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Desain dan Pengembangan yang melakukan validasi kepada tiga ahli, diantaranya adalah ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Angket. Hasil validasi kelayakan media dari ahli materi berbobot 89,6%, ahli media 97,5%, dan ahli pembelajaran 100%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat dinyatakan media kartu bergambar berbantuan teknik pemodelan sudah layak untuk digunakan di lapangan. This study was conducted due to the lack of writing competence of first grade elementary students. Teaching writing has been receiving less attention both from students and teachers so that it is not handled well and properly, because it is considered as a lesson and primary training for students. Therefore, this study aimed to examine and describe the development of flash cards with modelling technique in teaching initial writing. Design Research and Development was used as the research methodology, in which validation from three experts was pursued, namely theory, media, and educational practitioner expert. The data was collected using a questionnaire. The result of media eligibility validation showed 89,6% from theory expert, 96,75% from media expert, and 100% from educational practitioner expert. Based on the result, flash cards with modelling technique as a teaching media are feasible to be used in the teaching and learning process.
