Abstract
Pendidikan perlu dilakukan inovasi untuk mengantisipasi perkembangan zaman. Salah satu aspek pedidikan yang perlu dilakukan perubahan adalah buku teks pelajaran. Buku teks pelajaran menjadi aspek penting guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Buku teks yang digunakan pada kurikulum saat ini berbeda dengan kurikulum sebelumnya. Namun, masih ditemukannya kekurangan dalam berbagai aspek pada buku tematik kurikulum 2013 yang digunakan di sekolah dasar. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian materi wawancara kelas 4 tema 3 peduli terhadap makhluk hidup dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif berdasarkan kriteria bahan ajar yang ditetapkan oleh Permendikbud nomor 8 tahun 2016. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Objek penelitian dan sumber data padapenelitian ini yaitu materi wawancara pada buku tematik kelas IV Tema 3 “Peduli Terhadap Makhluk Hidup” revisi 2017 yang diterbitkan oleh Kemendikbud. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai analisis data dan pembahasan kesesuaian materi wawancara, peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa secara keseluruhan materi wawancara sudah sesuai tapi pada penyajian materi masih terdapat aspek yang tidak sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif siswa. ----- Education needs to be innovation in anticipation of development the times. One aspect of education that needs to change is the textbook of lessons. The textbook becomes an important aspect to reach purpose of learning. The textbooks used in the current curriculum differ from the previous curriculum. However, it remains to be found deficiencies in various aspect of. The 2013 curriculum thematic book used in elementary school. This researcher aims to determine the suitability of the class 4 interview material with theme 3 caring for living things with a cognitive development stage based on the teaching material criteria stipulated by Permendikbud number 8 of 2016. This research is conducted using a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The object of research and data sources in this study were interview material in the thematic book class IV Theme 3 “Care for Living Things” revised 2017 published by Kemendikbud. Based on the results of research regarding data analysis and discussion of the suitability of interview material, the researcher draws the conclusion that overall the interview material is appropriate but in the presentation of the material there are still aspects that are not in accordance with the stages of student cognitive development.
