Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, rumusan masalah umum dalam penelitian ini adalah "Bagaimana persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan laboratorium sebagai sumber belajar di SMKN 2 Baleendah?". Secara lebih khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan: (1) Persepsi siswa terhadap intensitas penggunaan laboratorium sebagai sumber belajar di SMKN 2 Baleendah, (2) Persepsi siswa terhadap sumber daya laboratorium di SMKN 2 Baleendah, dan (3) Tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap intensitas penggunaan dan sumber daya laboratorium di SMKN 2 Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena melihat adanya kesenjangan - kesenjangan dalam hal penggunaan laboratorium sebagai sumber belajar, seperti dilansir dari laman wawasanpendidikan.com, kesenjangan dari segi intensitas penggunaan laboratorium yang masih kurang, hingga sumber daya dalam laboratorium yang seringkali membuat persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran di laboratorium menjadi kurang optimal. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMKN 2 Baleendah Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 522 orang siswa dengan sampel berjumlah 104 orang responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan angket dalam bentuk Google Form. Uji validitas instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan validitas isi, dan validitas empiris. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Alpha Cronbach’s. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantatif dengan menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan data melalui pengukuran nilai sentral rerata ideal (mean ideal) dan standar deviasi ideal. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Persepsi siswa terhadap intensitas penggunaan laboratorium sebagai sumber belajar di SMKN 2 Baleendah termasuk dalam kategori “positif”, (2) Persepsi siswa terhadap sumber daya laboratorium di SMKN 2 Baleendah masuk kedalam kategori “positif”, (3) Secara keseluruhan, tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap intensitas penggunaan dan sumber daya laboratorium di SMKN 2 Baleendah berada dalam kategori “memuaskan”. The general problem formulation of this research was "How is the perception of students towards the laboratory usage as a learning resources in Baleendah 2 Vocational High School?". More specifically, the aims of this study are to analyze and to describe: (1) Student perception of the intensiy toward the laboratory usage as learning resources in Baleendah 2 Vocational High School, (2) Student perceptions about laboratory resources in Baleendah 2 Vocational High School, (3) The student satisfaction levels about the intensity of the laboratory usage and about the laboratory resources in Baleendah 2 Vocational High School. This research was conducted because there's so much gaps in terms of the laboratory usage as a learning resources, as quoted from wawasanpendidikan.com's page, the gaps are such as the intensity towards the laboratory usage which is still bad, and laboratory's resources that often make student perceptions about laboratory learning to be less than optimal. The population of this study is all 12th grade students of Baleendah 2 Vocational High School 2019/2020 which amounted to 522 students, with 104 samples of respondent which determined by using Cluster Sampling Technique. Data collecting technique that use in this research using Google Form questionnaire. Validity test of this instrument research using validity of the content and validity empirical. Reliability test of this instrument research using Alpha Cronbarch's technique. Analysis of data that used in this study is quantitative descriptive technique through the measurement of the central value of the ideal average (mean ideal) and the ideal standard deviation. The finding result of this study show that: (1) Student perceptions towards the intensity of laboratory usage as a learning resources in Baleendah 2 Vocational High School are included in the "positive" category. (2) Student perceptions toward the Baleendah 2 Vocational High School laboratory resources are in "positive" category. (3) Generally, the student satisfactions level about the intensity of the use and laboratory resources in Baleendah 2 Vocational High School are in the "satisfied" category.
