    Abstract

    Pendidikan merupakan salah satu fokus utama untuk kemajuan bangsa,
    namun pendidikan di Indonesia khususnya pada jenjang SMK masih begitu
    kompleks dan membutuhkan perhatian yang lebih. Salah satu yang menjadi sorotan
    yaitu belum maksimalnya kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil kajian terhadap faktorfaktor
    yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru, diduga faktor yang paling berpengaruh
    adalah kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah
    Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey
    eksplanatori. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
    Survey dengan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data.
    .Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa kompetensi manajerial
    kepala sekolah berada pada kategori kuat dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori
    tinggi. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai Thitung > nilai Ttabel yaitu (6.376 >
    2,036) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diteirma maka kompetensi manajerial kepala
    sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru.Education is one of the main focuses for the progress of the nation, but
    education in Indonesia, especially at the SMK level is still very complex and
    requires more attention. One of the highlights is that teacher performance has not
    been maximized. Based on the results of a study of the factors that affect teacher
    performance, it is suspected that the most influential factor was the managerial
    competence of the principal
    The method used in this research is explanatory survey method. The data
    collection technique used in this study was a field study technique with a
    questionnaire as a data collection tool.
    Based on the results of the study, it was found that the principal's
    managerial competence was in the strong category and the teacher's performance
    was in the high category. From the results of the hypothesis test, the value of
    Tcount> Ttable is (6.376> -1.696) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so the
    managerial competence of the principal has a positive influence on teacher
    performance.
