Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menerapkan strategi scaffolding pada multimedia pembelajaran berbantuan game petualangan; 2) mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman ekstrapolasi siswa pada pembelajaran pemograman dasar dengan penerapan strategi scaffolding berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran game petualangan; 3) menganalisis respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang menggunakan strategi scaffolding pada multimedia pembelajaran berbantuan game petualangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi-Experimental Design dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kelas X TKI 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X TKI 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes dan non tes. Istrumen tes yang digunakan berupa soal pretest dan posttest, sedangkan untuk instrumen non tes berupa angket dan lembar wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian, diperoleh hasil data pretest kelas kontrol sebesar 43,01 dan posttest sebesar 77,10, pada kelas eksperimen data pretest yang diperoleh sebesar 40,86 dan posttest sebesar 80,43. Dari uji prasyarat yang mencakup uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, didapatkan hasil yang normal dan homogen pada tiap kelas. Selanjutnya pada pengujian hipotesis yang diolah dengan menggunakan uji-t, diperoleh hasil H1 diterima karena hasil thitung > ttabel yaitu 1,746 > 1,670. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata siswa antara pembelajaran menggunakan strategi scaffolding berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran game petualangan dengan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi scaffolding secara konvensional. Data penelitian ini juga didukung dengan perolehan hasil kuesioner respon siswa terhadap penerapan strategi scaffolding menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran berbantuan game petualangan, yang mendapat presentase sebesar 81,14%.; This research aims to determine the increase in understanding of extrapolation of students after applied scaffolding strategies using multimedia learning assisted by adventure games. The research method used in this study is Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Bandung, with research subjects namely class X TKI 4 as the control class and X TKI 5 as the experimental class. The research instrument used was in the form of tests and non-tests. Test instruments used were in the form of pretest and posttest, while for non-test instruments were questionnaires and interview sheets. Based on the research, the results of the pretest control class of 43.01 and posttest were 77.10, in the experimental class the pretest data obtained was 40.86 and the posttest was 80.43. From the prerequisite test which included the normality test and homogeneity test, the results were normal and homogeneous in each class. Furthermore, in testing hypotheses that are processed using the t-test, H1 results are received because the results of tcount> ttable are 1.746> 1.670. So that it can be concluded, there are differences in the average value of students between learning using scaffolding strategies assisted by multimedia learning adventure games with learning using conventional scaffolding strategies. The data of this study are also supported by the acquisition of the results of the student response questionnaire on the implementation of the scaffolding strategy using learning multimedia assisted by adventure games, which received a percentage of 81.14%.
