Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh implementasi regulasi tentang penguatan pendidikan menengah kejuruan melalui Instruksi Presiden Nomor 9 tahun 2016 tentang revitalisasi SMK. Fokus dan orientasi ini tentu membutuhkan perubahan pemikiran dan paradigma dari semua pemangku kepentingan dalam rangka memastikan kerkaitan dan kesesuaian antara pengembangan program pendidikan SMK dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Salah satu hal yang menentukan adalah pelaksanaan program link and match yang diberlakukan bagi SMK. Program link and match merupakan srategi yang diterapkan dalam melakukan proses revitalisasinya. Sehingga kesepadanan kompetensi lulusan dapat terpenuhi sesuai dengan tuntutan dunia usaha dan dunia industri terkini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran, melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis konvergensi parallel. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa 1) Tingkat respons sebaagi reaksi terhadap pelaksanaan program sangat baik; 2) Implementasi program kepada proses pembelajaran dalam menghasilkan perilaku peserta didik dan lulusn SMK bidang pertanian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia usaha dan dunia industri cukup baik dan memadai; (3) Penerapan kurikulum yang telah diselaraskan membuat proses pembelajaran lebih terarah dan spesifik pada pemenuhan kompetensi industri, cukup baik; dan (4) Kesesuaian lulusan dengan dunia usaha/dunia industri sebagai dampak langsung dari proram, serta keterserapannya oleh pasar kerja (DUI/DI) mengalami peningkatan. This research is motivated by the implementation of regulations on strengthening vocational secondary education which stipulated by the Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2016 which requires the revitalization of SMKs. This focus and orientation certainly requires a change of mind and paradigm from all stakeholders in order to ensure the linkages and compatibility between the development of educational programs and the demands of the world of work. One of the things that determines is the implementation of link and match programs that apply to all SMKs. Link and Match Program is a strategy that is applied in carrying out the revitalization process for vocational school. So that the graduates competencies are able to be met the needs and standards in line with the demands of the business world and the latest industry. This research used a mixed method, through quantitative and qualitative approaches with data collection techniques by questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, all in bundled of parallel convergence analysis. The research findings show that 1) The response rate as a reaction to the implementation of the program is very good; 2) Implementation of the program to the learning process in producing student behavior and graduating from SMK in agriculture in accordance with the needs of the business and industrial world is quite good and adequate; (3) The application of the adjusted curriculum makes the learning process more directed and specific to the fulfillment of industrial competencies, quite well; and (4) The suitability of graduates with the business world / industry as a direct impact of the program, and its absorption by the labor market (DUI / DI) has increased.
