Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pembentukan Teknik Vokal Head Voice pada Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia”. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengungkapkan tentang pembentukan tenik vokal head voice yang meliputi materi, proses pembentukan, dan hasil pembentukan tersebut. Pentingnya pembentukan teknik vokal head voice ini karena tidak semua anggota PSM UPI belum sepenuhnya menguasai teknik vokal head voice, maka dirasa perlu untuk diadakan pelatihan tentang teknik vokal head voice sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk mengangkat topik ini. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang hasilnya disajikan dengan bentuk tulisan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh pada temuan bahwa dengan diadakan pembentukan teknik vokal head voice anggota PSM UPI mengalami perubahan dan mengalami perkembangan kearah yang lebih baik dalam bernyanyi.-- This research entitled “The Vocal Register of Head Voice Technique Formation in Choir of Indonesia University of Education”. This research aims to reveal the vocal register of head voice technique formation which consists of the materials, the process, the formation, and the outcome. Since not all PSM UPI members have mastered the vocal register of head voice technique, training session is necessary so that the researcher is interested to reveal this topic. The method used in this research is descriptive by using qualitative approach, where the outcome is presented in the forms of writing. Based on the findings, it shows that the vocal register of head voice technique improves the PSM UPI members’ skill to be better in singing.
