Abstract

Keterampilan abad ke 21 merupakan hal yang penting untuk bertahan di era teknologi. Pendidikan diarahkan untuk melatihkan ketrampilan tersebut. Sehingga calon guru perlu di bekali keterampilan abad ke 21 agar kelak dapat memefasilitasi keterampilan abad ke 21 pada siswa-siswanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatihkan keterampilan abad ke 21 mahasiswa calon guru fisika dengan menerapkan project oriented problem based learning dan reading infusion dalam pembelajaran fisika dasar 2 di salah satu universitas negeri di Kota Bandung. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group dengan sampel sebanyak 64 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara random. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes essai keterampilan berpikir kritis, tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif, dan lembar observasi serta angket penilaian diri untuk mengukur keterampilan berkolaborasi dan berkomunikasi. Instrumen yang dikembangkan merujuk pada frameworks ketrampilan abad ke 21 menurut Buck Institute of Education. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan nilai posttest keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mahasiswa anatara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penambahaan reading infusion dalam pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan abad ke 21 mahasiswa, yang termasuk kategori sedang untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif.;--The 21st century skills is important to survive in the technological era. Education was directed to train these skills. Therefore, prospective teachers need to be equipped with 21st century skills so that can facilitate the skills on the students later. This study aims to trill 21st century skills on physics teacher candidates by applying project oriented problem based learning and reading infusion in basic physics course 2 at one of the state universities in Bandung. The study was designed in pretest posttest control group, 64 students was selected randomly to join the learning process. The instruments used in this research are essay test of critical and creative thinking, observation sheet, and self-assessment questionnaire to measure the skill of collaborating and communicating. The developed instrument refers to the 21st century skills framework according to the Buck Institute of Education. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using t test, it indicated there was significant differences in posttest value of students critical and creative thinking skills between experiment and control class. The result of ANOVA calculation shows there was influence of reading infusion addition in learning to students 21st century skill, which is included in medium category for critical and creative thinking skills.
