Abstract
Arus globalisasi dewasa kini mengakibatkan banyak penurunan perilaku moral di kalangan pelajar. Hal tersebut bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab orangtua, tetapi juga merupakan tanggung jawab guru di sekolah. Di sekolah, guru harus menjadi seorang teladan yang mampu memberikan contoh kepada siswa tentang perbuatan yang bermoral atau tidak bermoral. Dengan memberikan banyak contoh perbuatan bermoral di sekolah diharapkan dapat menjadi sebuah solusi yang efektif untuk mengatasi penurunan perilaku moral di kalangan pelajar. Berdasarkan latarbelakang masalah tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian tentang internalisasi nilai moral melalui metode keteladanan guru pada kegiatan pembelajaran di ruang kelas. Masalah pokok penelitian ini adalah bagaimana proses internalisasi nilai moral melalui metode keteladanan guru pada kegiatan pembelajaran di ruang kelas. Adapun teori yang menjadi landasan penelitian adalah teori pendidikan karakter dari Thomas Lickona yang menyatakan bahwa pendidikan moral terdiri atas tiga aspek yaitu moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pembahasan hasil penelitian dianalisis berdasarkan konsep kajian pendidikan umum tentang makna-makna esensial pendidikan umum yaitu makna simbolik, empirik, etik, estetik, sinoptik, dan sinoetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep internalisasi nilai moral melalui metode keteladanan guru pada kegiatan pembelajaran di ruang kelas. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan sumbangan pemikiran dalam konsep pendidikan moral yang berkembang dewasa ini.;-- 21st century globalization led many decline in moral behavior among students. This case, is not only the responsibility of the parents, but also the responsibility of the teachers in the school. At school, the teacher should be a role model that is able to provide insight to students about the act of moral or amoral. By providing a lot of moral understanding at school is expected to be an effective solution to overcome the decline in moral behavior among students. Based on the background of the problem, the research will exploration on internalization of moral values through the role of teacher’s method on the learning activities in the classroom. The main problem of this thesis study is how the process of internalization of moral values through the role of teacher’s method on the learning activities in the classroom. To facilitate the research, the research is reviewed based on the moral education theory by Thomas Lickona, he stated that moral education consists of three aspects: moral knowledge, moral feeling, and moral action. To obtain data, the research was conducted by qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation technique. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman model through data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Discussion of research results were analyzed using the basic concept of general education about the essential meaning of general education, the essential meaning is symbolic, empirical, ethical, esthetic, synoptic, and synoethic. This study aims to explore the concept of internalization of moral values through the role of teacher’s method on the learning activities in the classroom. This study is expected to contribute thoughts in the concept of moral education.
