Abstract

ABSTRAK Raihan Siraj (1302061). Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pop Up Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Skripsi Departemen Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Tahun 2018 Pada penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang efektivitas media pop up terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN Isola Bandung. Permasalahan yang diteliti yaitu tingkat motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran masih perlu ditingkatkan. Terkait motivasi siswa tersebut, media pop up memiliki hal yang menarik yaitu karakteristiknya. Dimana konten disajikan dengan bentuk dua dimensi atau tiga dimensi pada halaman media, sehingga dapat memotivasi siswa dalam belajarnya. Di samping itu, media pop up dapat dipakai secara individual sehingga siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian ini menjawab permasalahan bagaimana mengingkatnya motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan media pop up pada Pembelajaran Tiga, Subtema 1 Kekayaan Sumber Energi Di Indonesia, Tema 9 Kayanya Negeriku Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di SDN Isola Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa pada aspek cognitive motives, self expression, dan self enhancement antara kelas yang menggunakan media pop up dengan kelas yang menggunakan buku cetak tematik pada Pembelajaran Tiga, Subtema 1 Kekayaan Sumber Energi Di Indonesia, Tema 9 Kayanya Negeriku di SD Negeri Isola Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Isola Bandung dan sampel diambil menggunakan cluster sampling. Sampel yaitu kelas IV A dan kelas IV B. Kelas IV A sebagai kelas ekperimen, dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol. Masing-masing kelas terdiri atas 24 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket motivasi belajar siswa yang telah disusun oleh peneliti. Secara keseluruhan penelitian ini membuktikan terdapat peningkatan motivasi yang signifikan pada aspek cognitive motives, self expression, dan self enhancement pada kelas yang menggunakan media pop up pada Pembelajaran Tiga, Subtema 1 Kekayaan Sumber Energi Di Indonesia, Tema 9 Kayanya Negeriku di SD Negeri Isola Kota Bandung. In this study explained the effectiveness of pop up media on learning motivation of fourth grade students at Isola Bandung Elementary School. The problems studied are the level of student motivation in learning still needs to be improved. Regarding the students' motivation, the pop up media has an interesting thing, that is the characteristics. Where content is presented in two-dimensional or three-dimensional forms on media pages, so it can motivate students in their learning. In addition, pop up media can be used individually so students can learn independently. This study answers the problem of how to increase students' learning motivation using pop up media in Learning Three, Subtema 1 Wealth of Energy Sources in Indonesia, Theme 9 of My Country Class IV of Elementary School in Isola Bandung Elementary School. This study aims to determine differences in student learning motivation on cognitive motives, self expression, and self-enhancement aspects between classes that use pop up media and classes that use thematic textbooks on Learning Three, Subtema 1 Wealth of Energy Sources in Indonesia, 9 Themes of My Country in Isola Public Elementary School, Bandung City. The research method used was quasi-experimental with the design of the pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were fourth grade students of SDN Isola Bandung and samples were taken using cluster sampling. The sample is class IV A and class IV B. Class IV A as the experimental class, and class IV B as the control class. Each class consists of 24 students. The research instrument used was student learning motivation questionnaire which had been compiled by the researcher. Overall, this study proves that there is a significant increase in motivation in the cognitive motives, self expression, and self-enhancement aspects of the class that uses pop up media in Learning Three, Subtema 1 Wealth of Energy Sources in Indonesia, 9 Themes of My Country in Isola Public Elementary School, Bandung City.
