Abstract
Literasi saintifik merupakan kompetensi yang penting untuk dibekalkan bagi siswa membangun pengetahuan sains dan keterampilan sains. Literasi saintifik merupakan gabungan dari domain konteks, kompetensi, pengetahuan, dan sikap. Peneliti memfokuskan pada satu domain literasi saintifik bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi literasi saintifik dalam pembelajaran. Dengan kompetensi ini siswa dapat menggunakan pengetahuan ilmiah dalam konteks dan situasi berbeda untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dan pengambilan keputusan dengan cara ilmiah di masyarakat. Penelitian eksperimen menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design dengan populasi kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 245 siswa dengan sampel satu kelas yang diambil secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Model pembelajaran Inquiry with Reading Infusion dipilih sebagai cara untuk melatihkan kompetensi literasi saintifik mengingat Inquiry memiliki tahapan yang dipandang cocok serta memiliki keleluasan tahapan yang sistematis dan terstruktur dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan Reading Infusion dipandang dapat membantu siswa untuk melakukan proses inquiry dengan adanya pemberian tugas membaca kepada siswa. Kompetensi literasi saintifik yang diamati meliputi menjelaskan fenomena ilimah (K1), merancang dan mengevaluasi penelitian ilimah (K2), serta menginterpretasikan data dan bukti ilmiah (K3). Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes literasi saintifik berbentuk uraian dengan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,60 (cukup). Hasil penelitian dilakukan analisis menggunakan uji-t, analisis skor gain, dan analisis kurva normal berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry with reading infusion dipandang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi literasi saintifik siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung pada topik getaran harmonis secara signifikan pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05.;--Scientific literacy is an important competency to be provided for students to build science knowledge and science skills. The scientific literacy is a combination of context domains, competencies, knowledge, and attitudes. Researchers focused on one scientific literacy domain aimed at seeing the enhanced competence of scientific literacy in learning. With this competency, students can use scientific knowledge in different contexts and situations to solve problems and decision-making with scientific methods in society. Experimental research using one group pretest-posttest design with population of class X IPA in one of SMA Negeri in Bandung which amounted to 245 students with sample one class taken by purposive sampling with amount of 30 students. Inquiry with Reading Infusion learning model is chosen as a way to tackle the competence of scientific literacy considering Inquiry has a stage that is considered suitable and hasa systematic and structured stages in the activities of learning activities. While Reading Infusion can help students to conduct the process of inquiry by allowing them to read. The scientific literacy competencies observed include explaining the scientific phenomenon (K1), designing and evaluating the scientific study (K2), as well as interpreting scientific data and evidence (K3). This study used a scientific literacy test instrument in the form of a description with a reliability value of 0.60 (enough). The results of the study were analyzed using t-test, gain score analysis, and normal curve analysis based on pre-test and post-test results. The results showed that the inquiry with reading infusion study model was considered to increase the competence of scientific literacy of X class students in one of the SMA Negeri in Bandung on the topic of vibration harmonic significantly at the level of trust 0.05.
