Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi persoalan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab di kalangan generasi muda yang sangat memprihatinkan. Sorotan tersebut mengenai berbagai aspek permasalahan yang muncul di masyarakat seperti kenakalan remaja, korupsi, kekerasan, kejahatan seksual, perkelahian massa, kehidupan ekonomi yang konsumtif dan kehidupan politik yang tidak produktif. Pesantren Al-Muhajirin sebagai sekolah berasrama (Boarding School) memiliki program dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki karakter baik, yakni karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Khususnya kedisiplinan waktu, tanggung jawab akan segala tindakan yang dilakukannya. Oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik mengkaji bagaimana model pendidikan karakter disiplin dan tanggug jawab pada sekolah berasrama (Boarding School). Penelitian ini sesuai dengan rumusan masalah mengenai 1) Bentuk kegiatan dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab dan displin siswa 2) Perencanaan program mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam upaya meningkatkan karakter tanggung jawab dan disiplin siswa 3) Proses pelaksanaan pengembangan perilaku tanggung jawab dan disiplin siswa 4) Peranan pengembangan perilaku tanggung jawab dan displin siswa dalam pembelajaran PKn. Bentuk kegiatan pengembangan disiplin dan tanggung jawab peserta didik di SMP Boarding School Al- Muhajirin Purwakarta, menerapkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter berupa nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Metode yang digunakan yakni studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Peneltian dilakukan pada Kepala sekolah, guru PKn, siswa dan guru kitab kuning selaku koordinator santri (siswa). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Bentuk kegiatan dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab dan displin siswa meliputi pembelajaran secara formal di dalam kelas juga kegiatan edukatif lainnya dalam ekstrakurikuler 2) Perencanaan program mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam upaya meningkatkan karakter tanggung jawab dan disiplin siswa menggunakan silabus dan RPP yang berkaraker 3) Proses pelaksanaan pengembangan perilaku tanggung jawab dan disiplin siswa dengan menggunakan metode dan media yang kreatif dan inovatif 4) Pembelajaran PKn dalam pengembangan perilaku disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa memiliki peran penting dalam penanaman nilai, moral, dan karakter siswa. Pembelajaran PKn di Boarding School memiliki tujuan dan harapan yang jelas yaitu membentuk anak-anak yang mengamalkan agama dan ber-akhlaq al-karimah.;---This research is based on the character of discipline and responsibility among the young generation who are very concerned. The highlight is on various aspects of problems that arise in society such as juvenile delinquency, corruption, violence, sexual crimes, mass fights, consumptive economic life and unproductive political life. Pesantren Al-Muhajirin as boarding school (Boarding School) has a program can produce graduates who have good character, the character of discipline and responsibility. Especially the discipline of time, the responsibility for all the actions he undertakes. Therefore, the researcher is interested in studying how the model of character education discipline and responsibility responsibility at boarding school (Boarding School). This research is in accordance with the formulation of the problem concerning 1) The form of activities in improving the responsibility and discipline of students 2) Planning of civic education courses program in an effort to improve the character of responsibility and discipline students 3) The process of implementing the development of student responsibility and discipline 4) The role of development student responsibility and discipline behavior in Civics education. The form of disciplined development activities and responsibilities of students in SMP Boarding School Al-Muhajirin Purwakarta, applying the values of character education in the form of religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, love homeland, appreciate achievement, friendly, love peace, love to read, care environment, social care, and responsibility. The method used is case study with qualitative approach which includes observation, interview, and documentation study. The study was conducted on the principal, Civics teachers, students and teachers of the yellow book as the coordinator of students (students). The result of the research shows that 1) The form of activities in increasing the responsibility and discipline of students include formal learning in the classroom as well as other educational activities in extracurricular 2) Planning of civic education courses in an effort to improve the character of responsibility and discipline students using syllabus and RPP 3) The process of implementing the development of student responsibility and discipline behavior by using creative and innovative methods and media. 4) Civic education in developing discipline behavior and student responsibility has an important role in the inculcation of students' values, morals, and character. Civic Learning in Boarding School has a clear purpose and hope that is to form children who practice religion and akhlaq al-karimah.
