Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan pada saat pengamatan pada siswa kelas V di salah satu SD di Kecamatan Sukasari. Sebanyak 75% siswa tidak mampu bekerjasama dalam kelompok. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pembiasaan guru melakukan pembelajaraan secara berkelompok. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Game Tournament) diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa kelas V SD dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan kerja sama siswa siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan Taggart dengan dua siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Data hasil penelitian menunjukan pelaksanaan penerapan model kooperatif tipe TGT untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II mengalami perkembangan. Tahap penyajian kelas, tahap kegiatan kelompok, tahap game, dan tahap penghargaan kelompok mengalami perkembangan. Pada siklus I rerata kemampuan kerja sama siswa yaitu 65% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 20% menjadi 85%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap kemampuan kerja sama siswa meningkat.;---The background of this research is conducted due to the problems found on the grade V elementary school students in Sukasari during the research. 75% of the students are unable to work in group. This problem is emerged due to the lack of teachers’ habituation to encourage the students competitiveness in working group. Cooperative learning model type TGT (Team Game Tournament) is expected to be able to increase the student’s cooperativeness. The research objective is to describe the implementation of Cooperative learning model type TGT to improve the grade V elementary school students and to describe the improvement of the students’ cooperativeness. The research uses the method of Action Research Class of Kemmis and Taggart model with two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of the research showed that the implementation of TGT type cooperative model to improve the ability of student cooperation in cycle I and cycle II is progressing. Class presentation stage, group activity stage, game stage, and group awards stage are progressing. In cycle I the average of students' cooperation ability is 65% and it is increased in cycle II by 20% to 85%. The conclusion of this research proved that there is a progress on the implementation of cooperative learning model type TGT towards the student’s cooperativeness.
