Abstract

Pembelajaran masih bersifat konvensional sehingga partisipasi dan interaksi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran kurang aktif. Hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan dan sintak proses pembelajaran serta hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan bantuan LKS. Pengambilan data hasil belajar siswa diukur menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, penilaian afektif, penilaian psikomotor dan soal pre-test dan post-test,. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakkan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TPHP 1 SMK Negeri 2 Cilaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran discovery learning terlaksana dengan baik. Ketercapaian KKM pada aspek kognitif mengalami peningkatan mencapai 54% siklus I, 71% siklus II, dan 88% siklus III. Hasil penilaian aspek afektif mengalami peningkatan dari adanya perubahan sikap pada setiap siklusnya. Pada hasil penilaian psikomotor memperoleh kategori sangat terampil pada persiapan kerja, terampil pada aspek waktu kerja dan hasil kerja serta cukup terampil pada aspek proses kerja dan sikap kerja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran discovery learning cocok diterapkan pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan dasar pengawetan terutama pada materi pengasaman. ;--- Learning is still conventional causes the participation and interaction of students in learning process are less active. This phenomenon results the low learning outcomes. One of the efforts that can be done is through the implementation of discovery learning model. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation and syntax of learning process and also student learning outcomes through the implementation of discovery learning model with assistance of work sheet. Student learning data was obtained by measure using observation sheets of implementation, affective assessment, psychometric assessment and pre-test and post-test questions. The research conducted using Classroom Action Research Methods with three cycles. The subjects of this study are students of class X TPHP 1 SMK Negeri 2 Cilaku. The results showed that the implementation of discovery learning model was done well. The attainment of KKM in cognitive aspect increased to 54% cycle I, 71% cycle II, and 88% cycle III. The affective aspect appraisal results from an increasing of attitude changes in each cycle. In the psychometric assessment results obtained categories highly skilled on the preparation of work, skilled at the aspects of working time and work and quite skilled on the aspects of work processes and work attitude. The conclusion of this research is discovery learning model suitable applied to basic competency of applying basic preservation especially on acidity material.
