    Abstract

    Penelitian ini menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang bertitik tolak dari rumusan
    masalah umum yaitu: apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara
    persepsi penggunaan pendekatan CTL dengan sikap belajar siswa pada Mata
    Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di SMP Negeri 1 Bandung?. Secara lebih
    khusus yaitu apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara
    penggunaan pendekatan CTL dengan sikap belajar aspek menerima (receiving),
    aspek merespon (responding) dan aspek menilai (valuing) pada Mata Pelajaran
    IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Bandung?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada
    penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif korelasional dan menggunakan
    pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen
    non tes yaitu angket dan studi dokumentasi Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian
    ini yaitu dengan cara probability sampling dengan teknik simple random
    sampling. Secara umum, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat
    dan signifikan antara pendekatan CTL dengan sikap belajar siswa pada Mata
    Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Bandung.;---This study answer the research question in general that are: is there any positive
    and significant relationship between the use of CTL approach and students’
    learning activities of social science subjects in SMPN 1Bandung?. Specifically,
    the problems of the study are: is there any positive and significant relationship
    between the use of CTL approach and students’ learning attitude receiving aspect,
    responding aspect, and valuing aspect?. Research method used in this study is
    descriptive correlational which use quantitative design. Research instrument of
    this study is a non – test questionnaire and documentation studies . Sample
    collection in this study is done by using probability sampling, simple random
    sampling technique. In general, it can be concluded that there is a positive and
    significant relationship between the use of CTL approach and students’ learning
    activities of social science subjects grade VII in SMPN 1 Bandung.
