Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan bertanya siswa dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri X Kota Bandung. Sebelum tindakan dilakukan, ada 24 siswa hanya 21% siswa yang bertanya dengan kategori pertanyaan rendah (C1-C3). Setelah dilakukan tindakan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan bertanya siswa. Pada siklus I terdapat 92% siswa yang bertanya dengan 80% tingkatan pertanyaan kategori rendah (C1-C3) dan 20% pertanyaan kategori tinggi (C4-C6). Pada siklus II keterampilan bertanya siswa meningkat menjadi 100% dengan 49% yang berkategori rendah (C1-C3) dan 51% pertanyaan yang berkategori tinggi (C4-C6). Meningkatnya keterampilan bertanya siswa memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 92% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 96%. Maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya siswa dan juga berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa.;---This study aims at describing the students’ asking skills and student learning outcomes improvement by applying the steps scientific approach. The method used is the class action research conducted in two cycles. The subject of research was the fifth grade State primary school X Bandung. Before the action given, there were 24 students or 21% who asked questions in low level (C1-C3). After the action given, the results showed an increase in the students’ asking skills. On cycle I there were 92% of students who asked with 80% questions in low level (C1-C3) and 20% questions in high level (C4-C6). Cycle II students’ asking skills increased to 100% with 49% questions in low level (C1-C3) and 51% questions in high level (C4-C6). Increasing the students’ asking skills gave positive influence against the results of student learning. On cycle I completeness student learning reach 92% and cycle II increased to 96%. Then it was concluded that the application of scientific approaches can improve the students’ asking skills and give positive impact on student learning outcomes.
