Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan worksheet dan problem sheets berorientasi keterampilan pemecahan masalah menggunakan multimodus representasi pada materi suhu dan kalor untuk pembelajaran Fisika kelas X SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan Representational Approach Learning to Write. Tahapan keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengacu pada kerangka kerja Crebert dan David Rosengrant. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah angket uji kualitas, uji keterpahaman ide pokok, dan tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil uji kualitas dan uji keterpahaman yaitu analisis deskriptif. Sedangkan, tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah dianalisis dengan menghitung N-gain, uji statistik, dan uji ukuran dampak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari uji kualitas dan uji keterpahaman worksheet dan problem sheets yang dikembangkan memiliki persentase 82,9% dan 60,68% dengan kategori layak. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil ujicoba lapangan diketahui bahwa worksheet dan problem sheets yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan effect size, diketahui bahwa penggunaan worksheet dan problem sheets memberikan dampak yang berbeda dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dengan Cohen d = 1,54 dengan kategori dampak yang tinggi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah worksheet dan problem sheets berorientasi keterampilan pemecahan masalah menggunakan multimodus representasi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa.;--- The purpose of this study was to develop a worksheets and problems sheet oriented problem solving skills using multimode representation on the temperature and heat chapter in physics learning classes. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) by using the development of a Representational Approach Learning to Write. Stages of problem solving skills used in this study refers to the Crebert and David Rosengrant’s framework. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire for quality testing, comprehension test, and problem solving skills assessment. Data analysis techniques for the results of questionnaire and comprehension test using descriptive analysis, and problem solving skills tests were analyzed by calculating the N-gain, statistical tests, and effect size test. The results of the test quality and comprehension test, and problem sheets worksheet shows the percentage of 82.9% and 60.68% with a decent category. Based on the test results it can be concluded that the worksheet and problem sheets that can enhance students' problem solving skills with the N-Gain was 0.71 with a high category. From the calculation of effect size, it can be seen that the use of worksheets and problem sheets have different impacts in improving problem solving skills with a value of Cohen d = 1.54 with high impact category. The conclusion of this study are worksheets and problem sheet, which are oriented problem solving skills by using a representation multimode were effective in improving students' problem solving skills.
