Abstract
Misalkan D adalah subhimpunan tak kosong yang tutup, konveks, dan terbatas dari sebuah ruang Banach X yang konveks seragam. Selanjutnya, sebuah pemetaan asimtotik non-ekspansif T∶D→D memiliki sebuah titik tetap. Dengan penambahan kondisi tertentu, dapat dikonstruksi sebuah barisan {x_n} dari sebuah iterasi sedemikian sehingga {x_n } konvergen menuju suatu titik tetap dari T. ;---Let D is a non-empty, closed, convex, and bounded subset of a uniformly convex Banach space X. Then, an asymptotically non-expansive mapping T∶D→D has a fixed point. By adding certain conditions, we can construct sequence {x_n} which is obtained from an iteration such that {x_n } converges to a fixed point of T.
