Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen, yakni siswa kesulitan dalam menemukan dan mengembangkan ide atau gagasan ke dalam sebuah tulisan dan teknik pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang bervariasi sehingga minat peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen menjadi rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) memperoleh gambaran tentang hasil pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas eksperimen melalui transformasi film dokumenter. 2) memperoleh gambaran tentang hasil pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas pembanding tanpa melalui transformasi film dokumenter. 3) Membuktikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pembelajaran menulis cerpen kelas eksperimen dan kelas pembanding. Metode dalam penelitian ini eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control grup design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Lembang dengan subjek penelitian kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas pembanding yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa. Berdasarkan pengolahan data hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis cerpen di kelas eksperimen setelah diterapkan model teknik transformasi film dokumenter; 2) terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis cerpen di kelas pembanding; 3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis cerpen di kelas eksperimen dan kelas pembanding. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil pembelajaran menulis cerpendi kelas eksperimen sebelum melalui teknik transformasi film dokumenter memiliki rata-rata 64 sedangkan setelah diberi perlakuan melalui teknik transformasi film dokumenter memiliki nilai rata-rata 84. Selanjutnya, hasil pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas pembanding sebelum diberi perlakuan memiliki rata-rata 63 sedangkan setelah diberi perlakuan sebesar 70. Hal tersebut menunjukkan pembelajaran menulis cerpen yang telah dilakukan mampu memberikan perubahan yang signifikan. Hal tersebut membuktikan transformasi film dokumenter efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen. ---------- This research is motivated by problems found in learning to write short stories, the students' are having difficulties in finding and developing the idea into a writing and learning techniques are used less variable so learners that interest in learning to write short stories become low. The purpose of this study is: 1) to obtain an overview of the learning outcomes in the experimental class to write a short story using song documentary film transformation techniques. 2) obtain an overview of the results of learning to write short stories in control class without using transformation technique song documentary film. 3) Proving the existence of significant differences between the results of the experimental class learning to write short stories and classroom control. The method in this research is quasi-experimental research design with nonequivalent control group. The research was conducted in the SMA Negeri 1 Lembang with research subjects class XI MIA 1 as an experimental class and class XI MIA 2 as the control classes, each of which amounted to 30 students. Based on the data processing results from this study are: 1) a significant increase in the ability to write short stories in class experiments after application of the model transformation technique song documentary film; 2) a significant increase in the ability to write short stories in control class; 3) there are significant differences between the ability to write short stories in the experimental class and the control class. Thectonclusions this research is the result of learning to write short stories in the experimental class before using the documentary film transformation techniques have average 64point, whereas after treated using the documentary film transformation techniques have an average value 84 point. Furthermore, the results of learning to write short stories in control classes before have treated an average of 63 point, while after the treatment was given for 70 point. It shows that learning to write short stories have been made capable of providing a significant change. This proves the documentary film transformation technique are very effective if used in learning to write short stories.
