Abstract
Keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah melalui pendidikan perlu ditingkatkan untuk menghadapi perkembangan IPTEK dengan bijak. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMP melalui pembelajaran terpadu tipe integrated konsep perubahan, serta mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu SMP Negeri Kabupaten Cilacap. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri atas tes pilihan ganda beralasan keterampilan berpikir kritis, performance checklist sikap ilmiah dan angket tanggapan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji N-Gain dan uji t. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,52 dengan kategori sedanglebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,29 dengan kategori rendah. Peningkatan sikap ilmiah kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,68 dengan kategori sedang lebih tinggi dibandingkan peningkatan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,29 dengan kategori rendah. Hasil uji t nilai N-Gain keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah menghasilkan penolakan terhadap Ho dengan probabilitas lebih kecil dari taraf signifikan. Dengan demikian menunjukkan pembelajaran terpadu tipe integrated konsep perubahan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMP. Hampir keseluruhan siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pembelajaran terpadu tipe integrated.----------The purpose of this research is to improve junior high school students’ critical thinking skills and scientific attitude through integrated type on integrated learning and to describe the students’ response about the instructions. This research was using quasi-experimental methods with non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. The research conducted at one of the junior high school in Cilacap district. Critical thinking test, scientific attitude performance checklist, questionnaire responses were used to collect data. The data showed that participant utilized integrated type in experimental groups performed significantly better than controls group on critical thinking test and scientific attitude performance checklist. The result showed that integrated type in science learning can lead to learning gains that exceed those critical thinking and scientific attitude in classes where mainly conventional science learning methods are used. Almost student all the students gave positive responses to integrated type on integrated learning.
