Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPS SMA PGRI 1 Bandung semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksprimen. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen 1 (kelas XI IPS-3) diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik Think Pair And Share (TPS), kelas eksperimen 2 (kelas XI IPS-2) diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik bertukar pasangan, dan kelas kontrol (kelas XI IPS-1) diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional metode ceramah. Penelitian dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan dan perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sosiologi. Adapun pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan cara tes tertulis pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 butir soal dengan pokok bahasan masyarakat multikultural. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui perhitungan n-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis, untuk mendapatkan perbedaan nilai dari ketiga kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen 1 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TPS mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas eksperimen 2 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik bertukar pasangan, dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional metode ceramah. Kemudian indeks gain dan gain ternormalisasi dari kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2 berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan kelas kontrol berada pada kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa kelas eksperimen 1 yang menggunakan model kooperatif teknik TPS menunjukkan perolehan rata-rata hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dengan perbedaan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas eksperimen 2 dan kelas kontrol. Jadi model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TPS merupakan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sosiologi. This research conducted in social studies class XI SMA PGRI 1 Bandung semester the school year by using the method 2013 / 2014 quasi eksprimen.In studies class, uses three namely classroom experiments 1 (class XI IPS-3) fed treatment cooperative use the model of learning techniques think pair and share (TPS), and share classroom experiments 2 (class XI IPS-2) fed treatment using model cooperative learning techniques exchange couple, and the control (class XI IPS-1) fed treatment using conventional method kind of classroom lectures. The research was carried out to find out the results of the study and the difference in increase of learners on the subjects of sociology. As for the collection of research data is carried out by means of a written multiple choice test as many as 30 rounds with the subject matter of a multicultural society. Data collection was done through n-gain calculation, test, test of its homogeneity and normality test hypotheses, to earn the difference value of third grade. The result showed that class experiment 1 that uses kind of classroom cooperative technique tps increased study result of the higher than with class experiment 2 that uses kind of classroom cooperative technique exchange couple, and a class control using kind of classroom conventional method given. Then index gain and gain normalisasi of the class experiment 1 and 2 class experiment is at medium category, while class control is at category low. Based on the test hypotheses obtained that class of experiments 1 that use the model cooperative technique tps indicate the average study result of the higher with a significant difference compared with class experiment 2 and class control. So models learning cooperative technique TPS is kind of classroom that effective in increasing study result of the students in the subject of sociology.
