Abstract
ABSTRAK PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS ULASAN VIDEO PENDEK DENGAN PENDEKATAN TECHNOLOGY BASED LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS VIII Salah satu keterampilan kunci dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMP adalah menulis teks ulasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks ulasan video singkat untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Siswa SMP Kahuripan Lembang menjadi subjek penelitian ini, yang menggunakan metodologi Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Tes, wawancara, dan observasi digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan temuan pra-penelitian, kemampuan menulis siswa dikategorikan cukup karena terbatasnya sumber belajar yang tersedia dan dianggap sulit untuk diperoleh dan dipahami. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti menggunakan Pendekatan Technology Based Learning yang melibatkan dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II. Kemampuan menulis siswa berada dalam kategori "cukup" pada siklus I, tetapi meningkat ke tingkat "sangat baik" pada siklus II. Keterlibatan, penyerapan materi, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap informasi semuanya meningkat sebagai hasil dari peningkatan aktivitas belajar mereka. Hasilnya, penggunaan Pendekatan Technology Based Learning telah berhasil membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mereka dalam materi teks ulasan. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Menulis, Pendekatan Technology Based Learning, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Teks Ulasan, Video Pendek ABSTRACT IMPROVEMENT OF THE ABILITY TO WRITE SHORT VIDEO REVIEW TEXT WITH TECHNOLOGY BASED LEARNING APPROACH IN CLASS VIII STUDENTS One of the key skills in learning Indonesian at the junior high school level is writing review texts. The purpose of this study is to improve students' ability to write short video review texts for Indonesian language learning. Students of Kahuripan Lembang Junior High School were the subjects of this study, which used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology. Tests, interviews, and observations were used as data collection methods. Based on pre-research findings, students' writing skills were categorized as sufficient due to limited available learning resources and were considered difficult to obtain and understand. To address this problem, the researcher used a Technology Based Learning Approach involving two cycles consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research findings showed that students' writing skills improved from cycle I to cycle II. Students' writing skills were in the "sufficient" category in cycle I, but increased to the "very good" level in cycle II. Students' engagement, material absorption, and critical thinking skills towards information all increased as a result of their increased learning activities. As a result, the use of the Technology Based Learning Approach has successfully helped students improve their writing skills in review text.
